Prices Fresh Bakery Cafe reviews
34Arrived 45 minutes before their scheduled closing time only to be told that they had cleaned everything already and could not sell me anything.
Fantastic place for a weekend brunch!
They have great choices of sweetness, sandwiches and pies. Coffee was good, just the right way cappuccino was to be served. Wonderful and friendly staff too. Keep it up! Top place!
Great local bakery with fresh baked goods.especially the pies and pasties they are famous for.
Great concept but below par expectation. Price high for what is claimed. I tried several times for tasty food through the drive through. Menu does not explain what you get. It's ok but not what it could be.
Went during lunch rush, plenty of friendly staff. I had vegetarian pasty absolutely delicious my companion has hot chips & gravy this to was delicious prepared hot, they were happy to put gravy in a separate container. Saw many tradies come I & grab. Recommend to all, great prices too.
I have been here 6 or 7 times, I had great experiences aswell as shameful ones. Usually do a great kitchener bun here. Most recently I had an awful experience where the beesting slice I purchased was incredibly hard and stale it went straight in the bin. It is so dishonest when places sell you old baked goods. They've lost me as a customer because I never know if I'm going to get a bad cake or not, let alone the other foods.
Staff are unfriendly. Arrived at 3.30pm and they close at 4pm. Couldn't order a coffee or a toastie as the lady behind the counter said they were "closed" mentioned closing time is half hour, where she said "yeah. " Very poor service staff aim is for home and not customers care. DO NOT recommend if you're looking customer service and care.
These guys used to make primo hot dogs w/lot for $7.50
Now there terrible half the size diff bun no ham no onion too much cheese prob a diff sausage too.
Quality and quantity has gone out the window.
From best hot dog to terrible.
Fantastic! Had a little hiccup with my order which was nobody’s fault and the team were absolutely brilliant to deal with. The real test of a business is how they deal with a problem and Prices did it really well. The food is fresh and really great. Thanks folks, will be back!
Unfortunately received a low quality egg sandwhich. Was made with no Mayo, no lettuce or any other condiments Just boiled sliced egg and white bread.
It was really good place until I was served by Melisa (if I m not wrong the name)
Time was 2.45 pm on Monday /11/2022
Just went to have some sandwiches with my wife.
The lady served us was really rude since I start ordering & missed couple of things what I asked.
Then she said “Didn’t hear you” in aggressive way.
Not even apologies.
Obviously yes u can’t hear anyone unless u pay attention to.
She treated us like we went their asking for free food.
(Throwing the bread on table & so on.)
So I ended up ordering 1 sandwich instead of 4
That also taste less
(Even though I asked add salt & pepper which wasn’t added)
Management has to really train these type of staff how to treat customers in proper manner.
Otherwise u can’t stop loosing u r regular customers.
It’s really unacceptable the way she treated us.
It can happen to others any time.
There are plenty of other option & places.
So we may think twice next time.
I have been a customer of Prices Bakery for many years. Sadly they recently closed at Golden Grove and now I drive to Holden Hill (more than happy to do so) to get something for when friends drop over or just a great Cornish pasty, sausage roll or pie on the weekend. Always fresh and never disappoints. As I said I go out of my way to go there and pass at least two other bakeries. Good selection, quick, friendly and fair prices. The drive through is very handy when we are time poor and we can get in and out quickly. Website does display and helps to see what is on offer. Many thanks.
I deliver meat to this place and the staff are always happy and friendly. They have time for a chat and give me a sample of what has just come out of the oven. Highly recommend it
Excellent bakery with a good range of cakes, pies and pasties, sandwiches, rolls and wraps.
Eat in or take away or use the drive thru.
Plenty of seating and big carpark
Very disappointing visit last time here. Luke warm pie, just average roll, coffee not hot enough.
Was very disappointed with today's service. The coffee order was incorrect and definately not what was ordered The older lady was not happy to take 3 different orders. Next time our group of 4 will have lunch elsewhere. Dissapointing
I was very disappointed with the Pie Floater. Pie in thin soup! Not a Pie Floater.
HAS TO BE IN MUSHEY BLUE BOILER THICK SOUP. O. K.
GET IT RIGHT
Big dining room available. Fresh bakery food, great tasting coffee. They even have a drive thru so you don't need to get out of your car.
This roomy bakery has a wide range of bakery items for sale, baked fresh. My partner suggested this place because they advertised the Pie Floater, and although we live nowhere near here, he says it's worth the trip! Good coffee and friendly prompt service made this visit enjoyable.
All Covid requirements were met. & and disability friendly entrance.
10/10 staff. I was served by a young lady named Nikita. She was quick and and very nice. Food was very good. 10/10 would go again.
