Another review about Karen matches my opinion nearly identically, so I'll just add that she cares about her service to customers and locals. Her prepared meals during lunch hours are delicious and hot, and the meat products are always fresh and of superior quality- especially the beef patties.

Karen offers exceptional customer service and a great selection of high quality meats. We used to get all our meat from this lovely small business when we lived in the city. Incredibly generous open hours including weekends and well priced. Highly recommend.

I've been shopping here for decades and the staff are amazing, the hot lunches are always delicious, and the selection of meat is great for a relatively small family run business! I love this butcher and would 100% recommend.

High quality butcher 7 days and great hot lunches weekdays

This is a very small business (only ever one person on counter at a time) embedded in the Gilbert St IGA supermarket. All prime. Nothing from here is bad; range is limited compared to a supermarket or suburban place because it's a small butcher in a small supermarket. Depending on my budget I favour the eye fillet, Italian sausages, chevaps, bacon, ribs, porter house, lamb cutlets.

They also cater for the weekday lunch crowd with the best hot chips in Adelaide and a superb roast beef or roast pork with chips and gravy, which is as good as you'd expect from a place that sells premium meat. A couple of other options too. Do yourself a favour.

Very lovely to me. Not 5 because they didn't have pork mince.
