Pranee Thai Restaurant reviews
57 Food was great, very tasty, and portions were decent too. And because of this most singularly important fact, we will be dinning at Pranee in the near future to try their other dishes.
Service, waiting staff were polite, professional and had great knowledge of all of the meals. Also didn't see them playing with their phones or looking bored.
Atmosphere, look it's not Adelaide Oval's Five Regions Restaurant, more like having a meal in the formal dining room at your Nanna's house. But the bonus of this is, it has a very relaxed feeling.
Parking, massive empty church parking lot next door so if you have a flash car and don't want to get any door dents, stick your pride and joy in there and the good Lord will watch over it.
Fantastic Thai food, Pad Thai was particularly delicious. Service was excellent - special shout out to Harry our waiter (friendly and helpful). It was our first visit and we hope to back again soon.
The food was below average. Sauces very runny, rice was cold and all stuck together. Disappointing night given I had taken a friend out for dinner.
Best Thai food in the area by far. Choo Chee king prawns, Thai basil chilli chicken, Pud Thai all bursting with amazing flavours. All of our dishes were fresh, perfectly presented and cooked. The delicious coconut rice complimented the food nicely. Banana fritters with homemade icecream to die for. Excellent service and complimentary Baileys on ice a lovely kind gesture. Highly recommended.
I recently dined at Pranee Thai Restaurant and had the pleasure of trying their Lemongrass Seafood with steamed rice. The dish was cooked to perfection and the flavours were spot on.
Additionally, the chef took the time to come and check in with me to ensure that my meal was to my liking, which added a personal touch to the experience.
While my food did take a little longer than expected, I was not bothered as I had plenty of time to relax and enjoy the atmosphere.
The highlight of the meal, however, was the unexpected and almost comical moment when it came time to pay and the restaurant had run out of all their EFTPOS printing paper. Luckily, the shop next door had some spares laying around.
Despite this small hiccup, I would highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for delicious Thai food and great service.
Excellent table service and dishes, brought our own cake for birthday and did not charged for it, all dishes were excellent. Dishes came to the table very fast and everything came together as we asked. Staff were so welcomed. Recommend spicy mussel, tom yum seafood and yum beef salad. Will definitely come back again.
Got takeout last night, 2 noodle dishes and fish cakes. The fish cakes were rubbery and lacked taste. The noodle dishes lacked any authentic taste of Asia let alone Thai. Yes it’s cheap but fresh ingredients would be appreciated. The decor has not seen any tlc in a long time. On the upside the 2 year young girls behind the counter were pleasant and attentive. Pity a 15 minute order took 35 minutes on a slow night. I’ll be trying down the road next time
Driving all the way from Melbourne and looking for a place for dinner near our hotel. Glad we came across this place, what a wonderful Thai restaurant. The food were nice and the host was very lovely and friendly. The gentleman also gave our tot some papers and markers for drawing so she is quite entertained. Very recommended!
So dissatisfied with amount of food in containers. Both the green chicken curry and the pork with garlic were only half full, purchased two dishes for take away at $43.00, little meat and huge amounts of juice in both. Can’t believe how bad. Good taste but all juice
Very welcoming, nice atmosphere, greeted with smiles. Food was amazing, definitely satisfied and full, will be returning with friends and family
Amazing hospitable staff! CANNOT GET ENOUGH.
At 2045, I asked for two seats. Apart from my friend and I, there were no diners in the restaurant at this time. Contrary to most thai restaurants south of Adelaide CBD we were offered the option to DINE IN or opt for takeaway! How good!
The staff were lovely and accomodating, the menu and allergen knowledge was impecable, the food? Well... That speaks for itself', if you like Thai Cuisine, I'd definitely be putting this on your list!
What an undiscovered gem! Best Thai I've had in ages! Sensational flavours, very friendly and attentive staff, very well priced and fantastic quality.
I really loved that as a vegan I was well filled and didn't leave hungry! Highly recommended.
And as a really nice touch, they even offered us a choccy on the way out.
Will definitely be back to try the rest of the menu.
My husband and I have dined in this restaurant twice and just picked up takeaway tonight. This is the BEST Thai food in this area by far. Saturday night we ordered from a competing restaurant down the road, which was awful compared to Pranee. We will stick to this place from now on. Takeaway is just as good quality as dine in. The ingredients are superior, the taste is dynamic and authentic, The staff are very friendly too. It’s always busy but food always comes out perfect,
One of the best Thai restaurants in Adelaide, beautiful food, beautiful people, and the dessert (Banana Fritters) is to die for.
Food was fantastic, best Thai I have had for a while. Staff discussing current affairs between themselves in the main restaurant ruined the experience.
Picked this place to eat as the photos made the restaurant look really nice and the reviews where really good. But all this are lies. The food is disgusting, definitely not Thai worthy. The in-house is filth and needs some serious TLC.
Great food and service. We ordered the Pad Thai and Duck Red Curry and couldn't fault either of them. Not to mention they had a great playlist on!
Friends of mine who work here got treated disrespectfully and unprofessionally by a manager called John until they quit. From informal (illegal) pay, swearing to whistling and making comments about their bodies. Treat your workers with respect please.
First visit here, really nice restaurant, food was great, friendly staff, well priced.will be back.
We visited Pranee Thai restaurants and was absolutely fantastic!
The chicken cashew was delicious, my favorite dish!
John, the gentleman that served us made our dinner very special!
Great service and outstanding food, strongly recommended it!
