Prancing Pony Brewery reviews
68 Sensational service, friendly helpful and welcoming staff.
Amazing range of beers and spirits.
Great food, you never leave wanting.
After three years, we still call it our local
Great place for kids, helpful staff, lovely alfresco area, and consistently good quality beer selections.
Worth the trip
Prancing Pony is an incredible craft brewery and we'll worth your time to visit. The atmosphere is incredibly well laid out and very welcoming, the staff are friendly and happy to answer any questions about the range or beers, ales and ciders that they have. The food is incredible, especially the wood fired pizza so they offer much more than just a place to taste beer. They often have unique brews that make the visit well worth it.
Popped in for a beer and some snacks. Cool industrial warehouse style brewery, with a few quirky design choices. Really tasty beer and yummy snacks. Introduced Dad to frickles for the first time! Chicken was delicious too.
Best beer in the world, and with that comes some pricyness. Still, the Hefe and the IPA draw me. Can't go there often due to prices, but love it when I do. Update 26FEB2022: Food still extremely tasty, beers are better than ever. I don't like stouts, but I'm perfectly happy with their Magic Carpet Ride. Highly recommend.
The food was yummy. Can't beat deep fried goodness. The frickles were really good. We had the Summer tasting paddle. The beers were not over fruity which we appreciated.
Went for wednesday night wings, very over priced. Wings were very dry and way over cooked. Won't be going again. Very disappointed.
Fantastic food and drink, the aesthetic of the pub was lovably eclectic and the service was fantastic. In particular Kirstyn from behind the bar really went above and beyond in both service and her warm and friendly demeanour. Will definitely be coming back.
Great place, great beer and gin. Lovely attentive staff, nice atmosphere and fantastic food. What more do you want, go there.now
Been coming here with the family for 3 or so years now. Firstly, great beers and top shelf service!
Grant, Darren and the team are super nice, down to earth people who will look after you. Can’t say in the three years I’ve been coming I’ve ever had a single issue with the staff.
Beers are excellent. I really like the Black Ale and the Magic Carpet, along with the Zeppelin and the new Pinkers Brut. Food is also really good although like other reviewers have said, the chips can be over seasoned at times.
All in all, if you’re in the area, you can’t go wrong with the Pony.
Prancing pony, you guys are splendid! Amazing brewery for fresh beer and fresh foods. Excellent place for weather lovers. Nice atmosphere, nice place for chat, and roaming around
We celebrated being at our new clinic 1 year in September by heading to Prancing Pony for dinner. The kids (big and little) had a great time. Thank you for having us!
Outstanding beer and food! All the beers are very unique, the staff is great and the young lady making pizzas deserves a pay rise.
Really great food. Went with the family, and every single one of us really enjoyed our meals. Two of us had cocktails which were lovely, and the room was lovely and warm despite the frigid weather outside. Lovely atmosphere.
First time here. Was packed, spur of the moment visit. We were lucky to get a table, very friendly staff, great range of beers to try. We tried the buffalo wings with hot sauce, was excellent and also the pizza. Service was great and courteous. Suggestion I'd make is for the tasting paddles to have a stick on list of beers in order, there is a list at the bar but who remembers them after a few. Apart from that an excellent outing. Tip, do book ahead to avoid disappointment, as you do need a table to try the beers. Definitely recommend a visit and try the food.
A great place to go to experience some tasty beers (there's a fair selection for all tastes), some good grub in a relaxed atmosphere with some good tunes playing. The service was awesome, fella on the bar today was super friendly and passionate about the beers and nothing was too much trouble. Definitely a independent feel to this place. Couple of paddles to choose from as well as others on draught. Well worth a visit.
Good food, great beer and friendly service! Depending on where you're seated it might get a little bright depending on the time but everything else is flawless.
The beer tasting paddles were good. The staff were friendly.
The place itself is a big brewing shed with half of it sectioned off as a restaurant with quirky seating and pallet tables, a pinball machine and some rocking horses.
We ordered the bbq wings the prancing pony burger and the kids cheeseburger.
The wings were a little tough, but not crispy and it seemed like they hadn't been marinated long enough. The burger patties were weird and didn't have a discernible beef taste at all. The chips were over flavoured for my tastes.
Great team, great place, great food great boutique beers, great prices.
In a word? Fabulous.
Great beer large variety good service and plenty of room to sit and eat parking can be hard to get at times.
Would like to see larger range on menu.
If parking and menu improve would be 6 out of 5
