Portland Hotel reviews
30I absolutely love the Portland Hotel. The Staff, Security guard Pete, the Peoke & the Atmosphere are all awesone. I haven't started in a room, So I can't say much if anything. It's a great place to meet, eat, drink & play.
I went in there after work at 2AM, as they were open & was greeted by a Karen who wanted nothing to do with me or my money, just a rude Karen.
Good nice pub. Open till 5: 00 a.m. Everyday car park is not that great or I should say there is no car park
Felt extremely unsafe at the venue. Security guard was trying to chat up every youngish female there. Calling himself a Superstar. He made the experience for me and my friends terrifying. Security guards are supposed to make you feel safe. When I posted on their Facebook page the owner didn’t even have the decency to ask about it. Just blocked me.
This pub is really good because it’s open until 5: 30am
I can’t share photos of my visits to the Portland.
The beer is cold there for sure.
5 out of 5 mate.
B nice to have meals there friendly service for drinks but they need to have meals n bring on more customers xx

Been going to the Portland for over 7yrs now.
Fantastic.
Always have a good time here.
Staff are funny and friendly
I just go into the front bar.
8 ball, keno or racing.
Great pub!
Best staff in and around the Port.
Know how to serve up a killa tequila
Great karaoke every second Friday evening
Beginning again this coming Friday 26th of February
They never used to sell 'take aways'. They do now! And their open till late unlike most drive-thru 9: 00pm shut. Its a ridiculous time to close and its got to change.
My Favourite place to go every second Friday night to unwind with awesome people and sing some karaoke. Best environment I've been a part of for a long time.
Best coffee and fantastic friendly but very professional staff with a great attitude especially after dealing with all sorts at all hours of the night!
Best people great atmosphere all aspects of it are awsum the food the drinks the service fantastic. All around top spot.just ask Mr. Afro pete.the man the myth the absolute legend.cheers fella
Great place to play some pokies and machines pay well.but no free soft drinks for people who are playing pokies like most other places.one more thing is the staff are excellent
What a joke. We went for lunch and waited ages to get it. My husband spoke to the girl who took our order and was told it would be 5 to 10 minutes away. And to top it off another couple got served with a similar meal to ours and they came in after us. 10 minutes up i went to the bar and let loose. To be fair it wasn't their fault. We were given our money back and still got our meals. I think this was a case of a " precious" chef. Don't go if you are hungry.
Sadly, this heritage pub is desperately in need of major attention. It is old, dark, dingy, and dilapidated but the people seem to be oblivious.
Had not been there for a while, had a rather intimate, but painful ultrasound at radiology SA and because my car was parked in front in the shade, I thought I would pop in for a quick pint or two. The saloon bar hasn't really changed since my grandfather drank there. It happened to be happy hour, what luck. Beer was cold, service was prompt and friendly and made some new friends.
