Port Rickaby Caravan Park

We havnt been here for many years and have notice a decline in the park. Park is quite small but sites are a nice size. No tv reception unless you buy a cable at 30.00. Most parks we have been to lend you a cable. Fortunately we had our own 10 metre cable we got at Bunnings for 10.00. Beach is ok and sunsets lovely. Park has a shop with over cooked takeaway available to purchase. Very limited activities for kids with no park or play equiptment. Cover up as I have come home covered in sandfly Bites on my legs. Not for us. Better parks and places on YP

Like all the parks on the peninsula that are owned by the yorke peninsula council (most) they are a c standard and expensive as the council has always been anti progress and against further tourism.
Nowhere for waste water to go except on the ground. I went into the shop at 6.37 pm and was told we shut at 6.30 or we get to busy and sorry we shut 7 mins ago. Toilets and showers are old and need replacement and as they dont have enough you need to use the public ones. Fantastic location but a poorly serviced one.

Great location! Close to the beach. Can beach launch your boat. Part of the Walk the Yorke pathway takes you to a second beach.

Clean cabins, double beds in both bedrooms, well equipped kitchen. So close to the sea you can hear it all night. Great kiosk where take away food is available. Small well laid out park. This will be our second visit as the experience was so good last time.

Made me stay in a caravan. Wasn't allowed to see the beach and I was sent to a mental hospital after.

Well this place is a real Gem. We are Travelling Australia this place has been one of our highlights. We tried to get into Point Turton and theywere full so we came here. Went to Point Turton to check it out to see what we had missed. I am so glad they were booked out cause this is a million dollar location,
the Jetty has been so good in catching squid. The beach is amazing. The park is really clean the managers are friendly and do a great job. The kiosk does some great food also and you can buy most essentials. Thank you for a great stay. If we come back to SA we will definetly come here again. Could not rate this location high
enough it deserves 10 stars.

We had a 5 night stay booked here unfortunately a storm went through and knocked the power out for 3 days the manager of the the site went over and above to look after his customers we were offered to stay at 1/2 price leave and get a full refund or move to their other site in Minlaton which we took up we will probably return at a later time as the facilities were clean and excellent and the manager puts his customers first

Great park. Quiet and we'll maintained. The site we had was in almost the best spot. Not quite seafront but with a good view of the jetty. Bonus close by the public amenities and barbecue shelter. Real value compared to all other parks. We will return.

In Cabin 5, The Usual Crockery, Cutlery, Extra Blankets Available, A Decent Size Fridge & A Telly That Worked! The Sound Of The Ocean Crashing Into The Shore Each Night Was Worth Hearing. The View Of The Caravan Park & Jetty From Living Room Window & Front Door Deck Was Pleasing. When We Were Packing Up To Depart, We Used The Complimentary Broom & Dustpan, & Found Other Peoples Coloured Hair, (Not Our Own) In The Fluff For The Rubbish Bin, ALSO Provided. We Will Be Recommending The Accommodation To Others. MAINLY Because The Quiet Ambience Of The Place Was A Nice Resting Area. And A Great Starting Point Every Morning For Travelling To Other Destinations & Returning ECh Afternoon?

Very clean, neat, tidy, and well maintained park. Staff very friendly and helpful. A restful and comfortable atmosphere

It's by an awesome beach! Deli now offering food. Clean amenities. Being Winter today there were big churning waves at the beach. Fun to look at.

Lovely quiet spot to stay. Friendly helpful huy at the office. Amenities very clean and water Lovely beach to walk the dogs and beautiful winter sunsets.

Great little park, friendly, helpful staff. Only drawback is lack of dump point on site. Nearest are Minlaton or Maitland.

A great piecefull location for a getaway.
Jetty has good fishing, basketball court's nearby and caravan park has good facilities and a great camp kitchen.

Was considering staying here and came to check the place out. As we pulled in I saw there was a fire pit. I asked at the counter if they had any firewood and the attendant bluntly said 'It total fire ban season' which was fair enough. When I then asked if we could fill up our water, we were told to go to Minlaton oval ‍️ We felt very unwelcome.

So impressed with this caravan park! The best we found on the YP.
We initially wanted to stay at the highly recommended point Turton caravan park however they were booked out. And we are SO glad we chose port Rickaby instead.

An amazing grassy park with views of the beach, large sites and clean amenities. Dog friendly.

The jetty is just outside the park (30 second walk) and has the most amazing sunsets and a great spot for fishing and catching lots of squid!

Super quiet area and very safe for kids.

The beach is beautiful and a short walk leads to an even more beautiful beach along the coast.

The store has great fish and chips and all the essentials you might need.

Great location for exploring the YP. We will be back!

Wonderful caravan park and camping space. Short walk to the jetty and short drive to other beautiful locations. Will 100% stay here again

Loved staying here for a few nights showers are nice after a bush camping.
No luck fishing.but enjoyed the views from my camp site met some great people staying in the camp.

The park was extremely busy, our spot was close to the jetty and we had a nice outlook. We would go again.
I would have thought with covid being a huge concern that the amenities would have been serviced daily, possibly because it was so busy this did not happen
As requested we wore our masks when going into the amenities

I think $10 a night extra for children is a bit much considering there is Next to nothing in the park to entertain the children
