Staff friendly, helpful & informative. Lovely ladies. Enjoyed the virtual shark dive and the staff catered for disability access & needs. Lovely, neat gift & souvenir shop.

Great facility with dedicated parking spots for caravans. Free maps as well as more substantial informative books for sale. Library with printing/copying facilities and clean toilets is included in same complex.

Had an amazing time here.
Did the shark experience and was super intrigued and learnt a lot! Highly recommend doing it when you go, it was only $5 each.

The items available in the store were also good. They had a large range from local artists and vendors.

Absolutely brilliant, the VR shark cage experience is well worth it too. A must do when in Port Pirie

Dragged my family there to do the virtual cage dive and was gutted that it wasn't running due to renovations in the building. However, the lady behind the counter was lovely and gave us a tour of 'Shakka' the great white shark. The full size replica is very impressive and the associated displays in the room were very informative. We learned a lot about sharks and had a fantastic time.

Really went just to see Shaka the Shark. Exhibit was fantastic. Actual jaw with my head shows how large she was! Very helpful volunteer. Lots of local and regional info.

This is one place to visit, very interesting history, plus a replica of the biggest shark caught at Port Germaine, cost $3.00 per person to see the Shakka

Great knowledgeable staff will advise you of places of interest in and around Port Pirie. While there try a virtual reality cage dive or have a look at sharka a model of a shark captured near Port Germain and find out some interesting facts of white pointers

Heaps of information available from the knowledgeable and helpful staff. Shakka the massive fibreglass shark is well worth the trip on its own. Another highlight is the VR shark cage experience, you can get attacked by a shark without getting wet, except maybe your pants.

All the usual information needed on the area plus for $3 you can see the Shakka exhibit which is interesting but the best part for me was the virtual reality show. Costs $5 and is one person at a time but it is an excellent bit of fun, way better than i expected.
