Port Pirie Aquatic & Leisure Centre reviews
16Awesome day spent here, and Outstanding customer service.if you plan on visiting Port Pirie this is a must place to visit for a swim or chill by the pool with snacks Kids will love it!
This place is great. I personally can't speak on the indoor section of the pool but the outdoor was a nice pool with some nice depth options. Little lolly area for buying ice creams and the like after swimming too.
Excellent facility that is just 4 years old. Outdoor 50m pool was what I was looking for and I initially had the pool to myself. Despite being the only one in there the young lifeguard dutifully did his rounds to make sure I was safe!
This place is included with the Fitness Passport.
Really enjoy this place when we are visiting. Good outside 50m pool kept quite cool then a nice warm indoor pool for the little ones or aqua running. Friendly staff too
I've just recently joined up for a year family pass, spoke with Chelsea in regards to the membership, she was so helpful and Hannah, Jacob and jake the life guards make myself and all the kids feel safe. Keep up the good work guys. You obviously have a fantastic team leader. Can't wait to swim every morning, get ready for work and feel clean and refreshed for the day. 10/10 would recommend -Maddy
Nice pool, but the indoor stuff is amazing. Looks like lots of tax payers money spent here. Great kids water park and out of the sun.
The staff were very helpful and lovely.
Highly recommended taking kids here for a day out.
Great facilities not used enough. No aqua aerobics classes or teacher. A really great pool for the region closed too often. Would like to see the facility utilised more.
The centre turned on the Splash Zone for just our two girls last weekend. That's immense accommodation for a small crowd, and full credit to them. Kudos to all the crew there.
I visited with my 2 & 4 year old kids. Fantastic facility for Pt Pirie that was long overdue. Large indoor water play area and a nice size indoor pool. Easy access to the outdoor pool if needed. My kids loved it, the water was nice and comfortable temperature wise and there was plenty of room. The shower and change rooms were more than adequate. I highly recommend a visit
The upgrades have been fantastic. Indoor pool is a nice alternative to being outside. The Kids enjoyed the water play area.
The staff are great the made my son's bday party so easy. The only issue is how slippery the entrance floor is.
I had not been to the pool for many years. But decided to go and check it out recently. I must say the facility's are great they have both an outdoor pool and a heated indoor pool. There is also a water park inside for the kids to enjoy. The change rooms are fantastic. On my way out i decided to also check out the squash courts and the gymnastics area both looks to be great facilities. So most definitely an area the whole family could enjoy.
I had 3 grandchildren with me 3,4, and 6. The staff was very helpful and the children and I had a great time.
The facilities are pretty good here, great kids area in the pool section. Nice new squash courts and a decent gymnastics section. I wouldn't say the pool is better than others as there are plenty similar around S. A.and Australia, but for the immediate region it's great. Pricing I'd a bit high for lessons and attendance but they say it's because it's a new center. It's the same pricing structure as markings swimming center which is run by the same group. It will be better once the staff get used to the computers and systems as there can be a blank stare from most of them when you ask a question.
It's new years day. First place I've ever found not open. Really 99% of public are off work. No pool. What a waste.
