Great little hidden gem right on the beach front (next to Horta's). Enter from the very top of the car park.

Went for dinner last week on a most glorious day and we were lucky enough to get a table on the balcony. There's plenty of additional seating inside, but it lacks the ambience of the balcony.

The view is gorgeous, especially on a warm, sunny afternoon.

The menu is slightly on the small size, but apparently (if my source is correct) the kitchen is run by a caterer and only open on a Friday night. I'd rather have a more slender menu with fresh food done well any day.

I had steak, served with chips & salad and ordered a side of pepper gravy. The steak was tasty but rather tough and there was a lot of extremely tough gristle on the side (20%), to the point that neither myself or my partner could get a knife or fork into it, so we didn't bother taking it back for our dog. The chips & salad were decent, but the salad wasn't much more than garnish. Either they sent plain gravy by mistake, or the pepper gravy was a definite fail. I couldn't taste pepper at all.

The chicken schnitzels were very good & large and the burgers looked great.

No complaints about the prices, especially burgers and schnitzels & only $1.50 for gravy.

Desserts were under $6. Home made sticky date pudding was tasty but the texture was so fine it was like a packet mix. Apple pie was good.

We'll definitely be back, but I'll give the steak a miss next time.

I had a function here. Staff were extremely accommodating and hospitable for the entire show.
The only feedback I would have from a personal experience and my wife's also was the food was great. It was cooked well and served appropriately but was just a bit boring and didn't have much flavor etc. The arancini balls were great though! Definitely leave them on!
I would recommend this place to anyone interested.

A great venue for functions! Many options for catering / seating / style / type of function. Very happy with the events I've held and attended here.

Great place for events and good food. The hall which looked like main hall was pretty big to fit in more than 25 people in U shaped table setting. Ample parking and most important of all the view is breathtaking.

Had fish & chips for lunch at the cafe on ground level, the crumbed fish was beautiful. They do charge for tomato sauce though

Disappointed that it wasnt open on one of the busiest days of the year when everyone is on holiday. I witnessed people taking their canoes out of the garage but no service for the public. Seems like a flash building for the exclusive use of a few.

I was here for a catered Christmas party. The venue was lovely, with great views of the ocean just under the balcony, and good parking on site.

Great view, the coffee is below average, even worse then instant coffee. As a restaurant it's unacceptable.

Best swimming, canoeing taking kids down the beach spot for miles, also the safest, the next safe beach Henley Beach. The reef keeps the big waves back so the kids can play safely. Haven't been in the club, but the beach is to die for, also great Jetty to walk out on.

Great beach for snorkling. You can walk along the jetty and climb into the water using the ladder the divers use as well. Apart from that it's a nice beach just to hang out on as well. A lot of fishing going on from the jetty, too. Cold beach showers, toilets and changing rooms are available.
