I have loved this place since I was a kid it’s a great beach and the jetty has a decent sized reef at the end of it which is a good spot for skuba diving.

Beautiful beach with good aminities. Bit further from the city but close to McLaren Vale wineries.

Great beach, no box jellyfish. Parking is hard to find sometimes. Watch your wallet and phone here when in water. No stairs at end of pier anymore.

Edges by temperate sand dunes, this gorgeous, flat beach stretches to the cliffs that meet the Onkaparinga outlet. Dogs at certain times lick your ankles and there's even a sandbar and a reef!
Extra points to who finds the huge ship's anchor on the beachside of it.

Views are excellent. Reef is excellent. Its a scuba hotspot all year round and snorkelling and swimming in the summertime. Parking is somewhat limited so get in early. But their small cafe and upstairs dining resturant is a nice touch. Expansive beach, that is clean, protected and tucked away nicely.

It's crystal clear and peaceful. You can also snorkel, so come prepared. I had an awesome time.

Great beach! Plenty of space for any sized family and water was clear, perfect for a good swim!

Great for families with children. It has shallow water without big waves, rocks or seaweed (Southernmost side of the beach). However, the waves are big enough for children and teenagers to practice with their bodyboards and have fun. If snorkeling is your thing, the high tide provides a great chance for that too.

Gorgeous snorkelling around the reef, be cautious of the rip tide here but if you're a good swimmer I'd highly recommend it!

I Love Porties, I have lived in the south 34 years and this has always been our beach of choice, we just finished up with our kayaks and paddle board, AMAZING

Beautiful beach with easy access and ample carparking. Public toilets. Jetty, reef visual at low tide. Great for Scooba diving. Soft sandy beach with life saving club.
