Port MacDonnell General Store

We actually went to the Pharmacy & it is awesome service. The Pharmacist is very attenuative & helpful.

Staff are friendly and the shop is well layed out and very convenient. They have a bain Marie which seems to be very popular.

Kind of situated in a back street which is the main Street unless you went looking for it you wouldn't know it was even there not much in port McDonald there's a pub a cop shop the supermarket general store maybe a post office and a couple of fish and chip shops pizza Bar and prime places for a picnic brunch bbq in the parks along foreshore.general store is well stocked it's a country store so has everything from groceries to fishing gear. Friendly staff adequate off alley parking lot.lots of free camping if you look like up past the lighthouse you can stay 48 hours if self contained and another called the bird hide about 10 klm heading towards Portland which is nice grassy next to beach but again self contained and no facilities so take your rubbish with you so these places remain pristine and available to the short stay traveller.have fun stock up and enjoy port McDonald it's a great place.store 4 stars

Good range of groceries, easy to find. A little more expensive than the bigger towns bigger supermarkets.

Went there yesterday older women was very rude to my friend while serving her, even though I was standing right beside her I was ignored and wasn't served. After waiting 5-10 minutes at the counter I ended up leaving.

Collect some fine food from Port Macdonnell general store, then soak up the scenery at Cape Northumberland.

I bought an absolutely delicious chicken roll with sweet and sour sauce, spring onions and mayo for lunch. Very reasonably priced too.

John is the best bloke ever. Loves a chat.if you've got a spare few hours or even a day you must pop in and say hello. Very very helpful with fishing tips.

Great little general store and Post Office. Has everything you'd need including take-away food and very friendly staff.

Being a small store you get limited range of products, Friendly staff good service and you have a Post Office attached to the store, also next door you have a Chemist
