Port MacDonnell Foreshore Tourist Park

Port Macdonnell is a lovely town and we stayed here for ten days over the Christmas/ New Year period.

The caravan park is right next to the beach and the manager's are lovely.

Rubbish removal and amenity cleaning is done promptly ever day and the manager's are only too happy to help in any way they can.

The only downside is the rotten smell of seaweed. It's quite overwhelming and something the council should look at fixing.

Other than that, we enjoyed our time here.

Would have to rate this the worst experience my daughter has ever had on a holiday at a caravan park. They had no consideration for her current situation which she is heavily pregnant and nor did the owner in question really care. Had no issue stressing her out or talking to her like a little child. Wanted to kick her out of the park with no discussion, reasoning or even trying to resolve the issue. Was happy to not reimburse her for nights left and was totally rude to say the least. So travellers beware do one thing wrong your out even if it was a trivial misunderstanding.

Owners are very unpleasant. Cabins were tidy enough but unfortunately the rudeness and lack of people skills will mean that we will use an Air BnB in future. Such a shame because the location is beautiful!

I stayed in one of the on-site caravans it was filthy there were cobwebs all over the side draws near the bed and a big black spider in one of the pillows they supplied the jug they supplied had mould in it the the plates they supplied had bit of old food still on them you can tell they never clean them even the floor was starting to peel up from water damage the windows also has some water damage everything is extremely outdated you have to pay 10c for a 7 minute shower I think that’s very stupid and the owners were not very welcoming at all even our fridge didn’t work overall it’s a horrible place do not go there unless you want to be extremely disappointed like I was

Had a very relaxing week at port.macDonnell, hope to come back one day. A big thanks for having pet freindly accommodation.

Good caravan park. Almost on the beach which is awesome. Very close to the road. At night is alright but just no sleep in! Nice area for tents with trees. Friendly staff.

Unfortunately, I arrived here at around 9 pm and could not find anyone around. Had to look for alternative options.

A little piece of paradise tucked away at Port Macdonnell. This clean, well maintained Park is a stone throw from the beach and a short walk along the foreshore from the centre of Port Mac where you’ll find cafes, a small grocery store, pharmacy and local pub amongst others. Adam & Cathy are so welcoming and took the time to share their local knowledge of the area which was very much appreciated. The amenities are a little dated, but they are very clean and (as a traveller) we loved that you had space around you to spread out – you didn’t feel like you were on top of the next person. Definitely our new go to when we head back to the Limestone Coast. We had originally booked one week, but as we were so relaxed after one, we stayed an additional week – felt like we had been away for months! Can’t wait to return.

Spent 3 days at this Caravan Park and thought it was brilliant. The Park owners are very welcoming and great to have a chat with. The beach is right there, nice and close, make a coffee and have it on the beach. Keep up the good work Adam and Kath, and we will definitely be back.

Lovely hosts. Great, clean facilities. Well grassed sites. So close to the beach. Look forward to staying again.

Awesome spot, 10 Metres to the beach, 10min walk to town, nice facilities and surroundings, friendly, helpful people

The views here are amazing, stunning, lovely walks. Get a pic at the SA southern tip. The rocks look like different animals, frog rock we named turtle rock as we couldn't make out the frog. Lovely playground as well.

Good, but a bit windy today. Even though it's behind a low dune.
Sites are nice and wide, (3 bays)
grassed. Good access to sites.

The owners are awesome people, and the amenities are very clean sites fantastic we just love the place peaceful and beautiful surroundings

Great park. Cheap rates. New owners since 2019 and they are really helpful and accommodating. Will be back

First place we took our very first caravan. Loved it. The owners were fantastic and helpful. Say what you want about 10 cent showers, it all added to the fun and made us feel like kids again.

Lovely green grounds, well maintained and next to a fantastic beach. The hosts are friendly and helpful.
