Port Lincoln Caravan Park reviews
75This is a great park heaps off room for your van annex and car, closed to town, right on the ocean, older amenities but very clean, staff very friendly, would highly recommend
Rang the reception number and it went to message. Left a message 3 days ago with no call back. Have heard of others with same issue. Have booked elsewhere.
Dirty, noisy and staff are unfriendly. The only positive things I can say about this park are that it is cheap and the views are pretty. I stayed in a family cabin for a two-week period. I wasn't provided with hand soap or dishwashing detergent (though I was given four tubes of shower gel). The dishes are greasy, presumably due to the lack of dishwashing detergent. Being right besides the highway, sounds of cars and trucks is expected. What was not expected was for the alarm in the neighbouring petrol station to go off in the middle of the night on three seperate occasions during my two-week stay (I was in cabin 1 which is just the other side of the driveway from the petrol station). Staff are difficult to track down. I arrived just before 5 on a Sunday, roughly 20 minutes after reception had been closed early because the park was quite. I was staying for work reasons so was away from the park during work hours on weekdays. On the weekend, I stopped by reception five times at different times of day to pay my bill and on four of those occasions reception was unmanned. By the way, there is a $50 after-hours call fee, so don't forget your cabin key. My final recommendation is that you bring your own cooktop if stay for more than a night or two, as even though I was told on the phone that cooking facilities are available, those only include an electric frypan (and a pot, despite having no cook top on which to use it).
Power sites overlooking bay, generous size, grassed. Amenities clean. Friendly staff. Entrance to caravan park is by the side of service station.
A fantastic place to stay if you want to visit Port Lincoln and surrounding areas. Two minutes from the airport. Ten minutes from the center of town. We went for a week and ended up staying two. Did all the National parks as it was better to leave the van there at $27 a night power and water than go to the NPs at upwards of $34 a night (camp site plus car fee) for a long drop toilet.
Nice place, showers and toilets clean. Good size grass sites. No camp kitchen. Fridge and freezer in the laundry. Sink outside of the laundry. Very quiet place. The roadhouse next to it sell good food.
Site size is great & easy to get in, staff were friendly & helpful.
Amenities were clean, however the smell from the septic wasn't good & wafted through our site every night and morning, very off putting.
Could definitely benefit from a camp kitchen, campers washing dishes in the toilets or laundry isn't great.
Friendly reception. Great park plenty of room big grassed sites.some have wind protection some don't.
Great park right near the beach. Excellent price and only a short drive to Port Lincoln. Flat, drive through sites for camper trailers. Staff very helpful. Toilets and showers were old but very clean. Camp kitchen was the only negative.
A very nice caravan park & the cabins are neat & tidy, small & cosy just how we like it
Had to go here due to caravan needing repairing in Port Lincoln, site was lovely, great outlook, sheltered pitches, didn't know how long we were going to be there, and had to extend every few days. Amenities were good, and hosts easy going understanding our plight. If staying in that area, we'll worth staying there.
Dog friendly but bit over the top when leaving because dogs barking but other than that great place
Great park, a little bit out of the main town. Good sites, overlooking the water. Bathrooms are a little dated but clean and working.
Clean, recently renovated cabin although old had all that one required. Located approximately 10km out of Pt Lincoln itself. Is right on the highway therefore can be noisy at times. Park in general is well kept with friendly staff.
Absolutely beautiful spot to stay. The only downside for us was the beds just really hard other then that welcoming and nice facilities
We really enjoyed our stay here. Very quiet site overlooking the sea. Staff were very friendly and helpful. A big plus!
Staff were friendly, waterfront sites were perfect, ammenities are a bit tired but clean and serves their purpose.
We stayed in one of the cabins which is not a 5 star - old, tired, well worn fittings, bit cramped, and in need of upgrade, but very clean. The location of the park suited us as it is outside the town and peaceful. The park itself is fantastic and spacious. Very friendly staff and ideal place to relax and enjoy a holiday. Easy access to beaches and walking trail. A 5 star park if you are looking to relax and enjoy some peace and quiet. Amenities for caravan travellers or campers were very good.
Grassy and roomy sites. Just outside Port Lincoln and a great base to explore the area. Clean amenities. Great for overnight or a longer stay.
Pleasant old fashioned Park with big sites, good facilities, most sites screened with bushes and our site had a sea view which was great.
