Port Elliot Chicken Run

Recommend the fish. Batter really nice. More fish than batter and not greasy. Friendly service.

Lovely place to grab a bite to eat in Port Elliot, lovely food good size portions and reasonable prices. Out door seating and dog friendly. Friendly staff.

Very disappointing would have to say the worst chicken I ever had was dry and chewy not sure what happened to the skin as there wasn’t any chips well let’s say can get better at maccas and staff should surely know the difference between the breast and the leg like seriously I ask for a specific piece as why not I’m paying for it only to get home and have the piece I did not want or ask for. 1 visit was enough for me I won’t return!

Second time in a couple of months that they had no chicken at 6pm on Saturday night. Perhaps taken Chicken out of you name and become a fish and chips shop.

Don't order half a chicken, you will get free upset gut with the dirty hand that cut the chicken.
Besides that their while chicken are good and their chips are nice.

Great chips with chicken salt at the right price. They make their own chicken salt which is ok.

Very clean and a great selection.
I had salt and pepper squid which was below average, I also had a piece of butter fish which was very good, and chips which I were, I didn't ear them.
I will return to try something else.

May have been a bad night given other reviews but our meal was pretty poor. Burger was ok but the chips were atrocious - tasted like they’d been cooked 6 or 7 times in the same oil. Rock had, no taste, l other than burnt oil. Won’t be back.

I was sadly disappointed, my chicken was dry, vegetables hard, potatoes boiled never had that, taste your food and you'll agree. PS. Don't cut up people's schnitzel they're not children.

Not a customer orientated
There was a girl just staring to us. We called her to place the order but she waved back and didn’t even came back.

We got chips and they were good, quite salty but with water they were fine. The customer service was great, lots of friendly staff and we got our food quickly!

Brought 2 Yiros, lamb was extremely tough and cold, the garlic sauce just poured out of the packet.
Will not be going there again.

Ab pack would of been nice if not for the garlic sauce the onions in sauce are rank and made thetadre awful sauce tart

Worst chips I've ever had! $6 worth of chips is literally smaller than a large fries at McDonald's

Firstly the service, would have to be the most bubbly bloke I've seen in customer service for a long time. Doesn't mind knocking out a tune either.

The food was fantastic too the burger with the lot was really good and the chips are just perfect too

Chips were powdery and soggy.
$9.00 for very average hot dog.
Apparently the lot means a tiny bit of cheese and a few pieces of onion.

Friendly and fast service. The chips were large and crunchy on the outside while being hot and fluffy on the inside. The yiros was full of flavour and fresh. Will visit again
