Port Elliot Beach reviews
37It's very nice, not much litter, nice cafe's, nice waves and water, only complaint I have is it can feel crowded over the holidays, there are just so many people.
Port Elliot was great to visit we had s lovely lunch there. Our dog sooty was so happy on the beach. Also my Grandaughter was married there above the car park which was great
Excellent walking paths, nice place to sit relax, have a picnic. There are some nice areas to swim.
One of the better beaches, to take the whole family, in the area. But gets mighty busy on a warm weekend, so get there early so you can park less that 10 kms away
Very good beach lots of lifegards around as the waves were quite high and rough.
My only improvement is there is more shaded areas.
Love it, there's everything you need from a beach. Sand and water. Their sand is very sandy, and I was pleased to find the water wet. Needless to say, I left those waters a little saltier than they were before I entered them.
Beautiful place quite but popular with friendly staff in the small shops, very close to Victor Harbour
Favourite beach. Grassed areas and showers lead down to the beach. Beach is always stunning and safe. Often has seaweed, but that's nature. Good for boogie boarding and can see parts of the shipwreck on extremely calm days. Can
walk to Port Elliot bakery (a must) and bottle shop from here. Flying fish cafe isnt something I would rate highly, but worth the walk from the far end for an ice-cream. There is a nice lawn and tree area down by the surf club and a great jetty. Walking around the rocks in summer to watch the sunset is a must
One of my favourite places in SA. Gorgeous but intimate with a small beach and beautiful waves crushing against the rocks. Quite the view from the town looking down on the bay, also enjoyable if you climb the rocks next to the beach. Great whale spotting place too if you visit in that season.
Lovely clean beach with easy access. Nice grassed area would be great for picnic if it wasn't boggy. Playground could use some equipment for younger children.
Great for a break relaxing open and lovley for a family. So close to beach. Can sit out close your eyes and listen to the waves
Park with beautiful views across Horseshoe Bay. There are some war memorials scattered throughout the park, you can let the wind blowdry your hair or walk around the small paths leading around the spit and up to Freeman's Knob.
Beautiful protected swimming beach with lovely little jetty and superb fish & chips and ice creams at foreshore restaurant
Our favourite place in SA. Gorgeous beach, wildlife (dolphins, seals and whales if in season) and with excellent fish and chips right there!
Great fun for all the family. They have toilets close and a restaurant right next to the beach plus a great caravan park right next to the beach
A picturesque spot in a quaint seaside town. In can get a little crowded and the waves choppier than elsewhere.
Beautiful beaches, highly recommend to have a look, so many good lookout to view the coast from
