Port Clinton Caravan Park reviews
19One of the quietest caravan parks we, ve stayed at and cheapest at $35. Good atmosphere, friendly service, good spot for a stay over.not much beach as the tide goes right out.check out the community center for a meal and a beer, as its highly recommended.
We spent Easter on the front grass with family. It was tough going for crabs but we got enough for a meal.
Update still in great Oct 23. Dusty the manager is brilliant squeezed us in for a few extra days as we decided to stay longer.
This place is a nice spot to stay on the Yorke Peninsula, caravan sites we were on was spacious. Dusty was a real gem he reshuffled to get us and our friend in side by side. Warning if your going to Port Clinton buy groceries early as the store is not cheap but it is convenient for that one off item.
We would definitely come back to this caravan park to stay again.
Wow what a cutie of a caravan park, sweet and spotless.right next to the beach, dusty was great.
This sleepy little place is the perfect place to come and do not much.
Right by the ocean. The tide comes in and way out!
The fascination of crab raking pulled us here. We were lucky to loan a bucket and rakes from the manager.and an escorted walk to show us where to go. Had a fun adventure with the crabs.
There isn't much in the town, except for dinner at the Sports club which we highly recommended for a good feed and the 1 stop shop for supplies.
Dusty is the most thoughtful park manager you will meet. We are sad to be leaving.
Great spot right across the road from the beach. Good, clean amenities and quiet location, even the doggo took time out to relaxation! A short walk down the beach will bring you to some carvings done in some dead mangroves, apparently done by a talented local. Worth a stroll to see them. Good Community Club nearby for a drink and a great meal.
Picture/postcard views.
Fascinating watching the tide come in.and so quickly.
Clean little town with history in its murals.
Great caravan park, clean, good amenities and just across the road from the beach. A short walk down the beach will bring you to some carvings in dead mangroves, apparently done by a local. Very peaceful area, and even the doggo could take time out and relax.
Great place to stay.clean and across the road to the beach. Lacking for people without great modern vans is a decent kitchen
We spent Easter on the front grass with family. It was tough going for crabs but we got enough for a meal.
Beautiful beach and pool, immaculate facilities, neat and tidy grounds, playground and adult gym, good fishing, crabbing and swimming, smiling, helpful and efficient management and staff.
Fantastic place to stay caravan park was great very clean and great people running it and fantastic views loved every minute there
Had a great time here. The caretaker, Dusty, is a friendly guy that doesn't mind a chat and is happy to.give advice about the local area.
Amenities are old, but clean and have code locks to discourage casual passer by.
There is a nice little playground and beach just across the road and the "Walk the Yorke" track passes right by.
Could do with lighting in the BBQ and sitting area upgrade toilet and shower cover part of the swimming pool and lounge chairs around the pool with umbrellas
Need a quiet place to go this is the place, catch some crabs in peace while you rest from technology.
Omg I loved it place n people n staff.
This pic of son just catching up with some zzzz on day 3
An older park but clean. The manager was extremely friendly accommodating and helpful. Nice spot to stop.
Lovely little park does need a enclosed sheltered space so in Winter or bad weather guests have somewhere to cook eat and sit.
We stayed here to go raking crabs but we're a newbie on this activity so we're not ready with the right tools and asked the reception office whether there is a nearby rental. The lady said there's none. The next day we met Dusty - he was accommodating, helpful and funny. He lent us tools and gave tips on raking. Even the regular campers in this park are so friendly and knew very well Dusty. The park is so close to the beach. Lovely sunrise view. Clean environment. Just dont stay near the entrance and exit. It can become so windy at night in that area.
