Playford Alive Town Park reviews
28I was expecting more advertising as a water park but more a play ground. Water that is there more for younger kids.
A very nice playground and park attached to the library with lots of fun activities. Water feature also available for kids to play in. Walking distance to woolworths. Nice and calm area. There are retrooms available (not clean) and bbq areas. Small playground but convenient.
What a great park visited with grandson today, clean, roomy and plenty of interesting space.
Very nice park! Water play area, skate area, flying fox, large slides, big swings, climbing area. Library next door with bathrooms. BBQ and picnic area. Lots of space.
Lots of things to do, a few bits of broken equipment, mainly small things like climbing grips are broken or un-stuck. Needs a deep clean as people are lazy and don't use the rubbish bins provided.
Well it would have been great except some disrespectful person (s) had tipped paint all over the basketball court and my neices and I couldn't use it as the paint was still wet. The BBQ area was great near the stretton centre
Kids seem to like it, always seem to be watching my back, pretty sure some of those at the skate park are strapped.
It's a pretty good playground.
The fact it has water play makes it that much better in summer too
Good playground for kids as well as a place for family gatherings. At the end of the day, it’s a good place for everyone to relax and speed time with the loved one
I think this playground has great equipment for kids to play on but I think more thought needs to be put in some places to make it safer. Including the grass area when it gets wet and MUDDY.
A very nice playground and park with lots of fun playground activities. Walking distance to woolworths. Nice and calm area.
Perfect for families with young to middle aged children, even for the adults - there is something to do. Heaps of space for sitting on the grass and even tables and chairs. Just so much to do, when you need to take the kids out for a run/play!
Great public space for families. The water play is amazing all that I'd like is for it to be open slightly earlier when the temperature soars over summer so we can get the kids a play before the weather gets too extreme.
Generally a nice happy fun place to come. However rubbish is everywhere bins are always overflowing. Toilets are foul missing seat leaking water and smell BAD. The water starts to run slow from midday
What a wonderful park. The water fountain play area was a huge hit and my kids had a ball playing on the slides. Definitely worth a visit.
Great place for the kids, plenty for them to do plus BBQs, skate/scoot area and a big grass area in the middle. If you're not local than worth the drive. Hot days have water jets as well.
Great park the kids really enjoy it, its kept tidy and always fun in summer when the water is on. The kids are friendly at the skate park and only walking distance to the shops
Playford Alive Town Park is located in Munno Para West, a huge playground for little person to have a blast and adults to have picnic or coffee; amenities is brand new and public toilet is located at Playford Alive Public Library.
But unfortunately since it's Munno Para, Smithfield you can't expect the park to be litter free with a tranquility ambience; the demographic is bottom quarter of SA and with abundance of low skills immigrants, refugees and asylum seekers.
Munno Para, Smithfield is listed as Northern Crime belt so be mindful of your vehicle and surroundings, day time is relatively safe but be alert of your personal belongings; and your nearest and dearest.
Three star rating for the amenities and facilities, would have given negative one star for the demographic and location; a new facelift can't change the fact Munno Para is Bronx NY and there's nothing you can do with a third world mentality sadly.
My kids love this water park BUT it really needs more shade. And the water should stay on a bit later in summer
