This place sounds really 'kiddy' but its actually great. You can just sit there and paint for ages, regardless of age. The staff are really friendly and the food is good. There is a massive variety of things to paint.

I organised a private event for an adults’ birthday party. There was a worker there by the name of Linda. She assisted me in planning the event from start to finish, and was very accomodating and incredibly friendly the entire day. Her customer service was so good that I genuinely want to come back to Plaster Fun House again just for that same experience!
Linda, if you’re reading this, good on ya!

Thanks for everything!

Visited with my best friend (we don't have kids and are 30 for context). We had the best time. I thought it would be hectic with children as it was a Saturday but it was relaxed and the kids that were there were in the party area so it was quite quiet and chill (not that I have anything against kids!).
There are SO many plaster items to pick from and they're all reasonably priced for their sizes and shapes.
There is a little cafe there with coffee and snacks.
The paint selection is huge and there are smocks to use to stay clean.
I like the relaxed vibe of plaster fun house. It was nice to sit, have a chat, paint and not feel hurried / rushed.
Will definitely return

Great venue for bday parties and also to be creative if looking for something to do. Friendly staff would definitely go again, would highly recommend.

Very well set up for young children.
Plenty of different figures etc to paint.
You need to keep an eye on the children as so many paint pots.
Certainly a excellent place to take the children

Great time had for a fourth year olds party. Great value and easy entertainment for the kiddies, plus a great item to take home.

Came for a birthday, it was great fun. Kids were entertained and spoilt (in a good way).

I'll be coming back.

I used to go here for a few of my childhood birthday parties and I'm glad they're still going now. I returned for the monthly adults only painting night, I highly recommend it! Unbeatable atmosphere, the most comfortable judgement free public space in the city, other than the library perhaps. Plaster and food were cheap, staff were friendly and helpful. I completely zoned out of the outside world while painting, excellent way to gain inspiration or try a new creative outlet.

We all loved our night out. The place was packed with people enjoying their time painting the plaster pieces they had chosen out of hundreds of items. I highly recommend this place. The staff were very helpful which added to our great experience.

Average place. Good for plaster models and painting. Food is from Coles or woollies and coffees are less than average. Tasted like frothed milk with water.

I have done my daughter birthday, all was good and staff was very nice, the only thing that the cake was not enough, they gave every kid a very small cake which wasn't enough.

I had my daughters 6th birthday party here. Was very impressed with the price, party host and atmosphere. All the children were very happy and couldn’t wait to return.

I took my 9yo niece here in the morning (no booking) and she picked out three small magnets, one medium piece, and one large letter of the alphabet to paint. It didn't phase her that there were some chips/holes in the plaster. Once my niece had finished painting the plaster pieces, the staff were very warm and welcoming helping her put glitter and decorative mini jewels and cute tiny bows on her art.

There were plenty of paints to keep my niece happy and music played in the background attributed to a fun and positive atmosphere. Smocks were provided for both adults and kids, however, I would recommend visitors wear clothing that they don't mind getting paint on (just in case). The staff were very friendly and helpful and would walk the room often, replenishing paints and resetting tables, which made the place feel clean for an arts-and-craft-type environment.

The cost was $37 (as at 22 April 2021) and we were there for about two hours. This activity suited my niece as she has a keen interest in art but I can understand that it would be on the pricey side if one finishes their painting in 2 minutes!

I can't comment on the food; we did not eat there, however, I saw that chicken nuggets and chips seemed like the most popular order with the kids.

Overall, it was a great experience and I would visit again.
