Pirates of Tandoor

We went here in the evening, ordering sorts of curry soups and entrees. The food was tasty with perfectly sufficient salt, spices, and special herbs at once. Compared to other places I have been to, I see the herbal taste in this place is moderately served, not too much strong. I like this. We also really enjoyed the warming customer services and pirate theme. We will go back to try more other dishes in here.

We’ve ordered takeaway from here before and it was very flavourful, good value and the owner was very kind. Definitely recommend the saag paneer, naan, butter chicken and the specials they have are really really great value with a good range! Fully licensed and BYO is also available

Lamb Biryani was soggy wet and mushy. Chaap was ok. Both lacked salt and seasoning to taste. Nothing like when they opened.

I ordered some food through DoorDash. One of the best chicken biriyani I’ve ever had. I’ll definitely give 10/10 for the lamb vindaloo. It’s was my first time and will definitely order again

Our group of 5 had dinner at the Pirates of Tandoor on a Thursday night. Everyone really enjoyed the good food. I had the Prawn Masala, the menu says it is cooked in a hot sauce, but I didn't find it too hot at all. The service was also very good, we had no reason to complain and we left with a full belly. The prices are surprisingly reasonable too. I can recommend this restaurant to anyone who likes Indian food.

Ordered beef vindaloo, received a curry drowned in Ghee, never seen so much in one serve ever. It's not good for you & certainly wouldn't be served in any home dish. Very unauthentic. Do not recommend unless you actually want a heart attack.

Good service, Delicious food at genuine price. Highly recommend malai chap, rarra chicken and amritsari paneer bhurji.

Amazing food made by chef Aman.it felt like I am in India enjoying this aunthentic Indian food. Everything was so delicious tikkas, goat curry, Dal but Punjabi butter chicken was the best though.
Definitely visiting again and highly recommended. Pirates of Tandoor is definitely one of my favourite Indian restaurant in Adelaide. Chef Aman himself was very nice and friendly and so was the staff.

My experience at the Pirates of Tandoor was amazing. The atmosphere was very welcoming and the restaurant was spotless. The food was super delicious and left us feeling full. The staff were really kind and considerate.

Ordered take away, food was sooo good. Punjabi butter chicken, beef akbari, palak paneer, we're all amazing. The naan bread was super light and fluffy and mixed pakoras were really delicious. We will be back!

Fantastic food and excellent service. Aman was very hospitable and came out to introduce himself and the business. It was great to support a new local business and I look forward to coming back soon to dine in.

A very pleasant experience. They only just opened and it’s definitely early stages but I will be back. I had the butter chicken, it was fantastic and great value for money. The staff were lovely, and go above and beyond to ensure you have a nice experience. The staff clearly have a lot of passion and I am looking forward to trying again.
