This little park in the heart of Gawler is not only the memory of Our Proud Soldiers "LEST WE FORGET" but also a beautiful place to relax and have quality time with friends and family ️

For a relaxing time with lovely views I would recommend this for families to relax and chill out with the kids for barbique's and a meeting place. Ask council first as I'm not sure about the barbique's ok.

Awesome Information Center, and we were able to recharge our battery in the Motorhome whilst we looked around

This is a very typical park. Lots of cool events are held here to make it more appealing. There is lots of food restaurants around the park so when you getting a bit peckish you don’t have to travel too far for a snack. The park has unfortunately no public bathrooms so you need to walk if you need to go. The park has lots of natural vegetation which provides lots of shade to sit under when it gets hot. At the entrance of the park there is a cool hand sculpture not sure what it’s meant to represent but it looks cool.

Good place to relax and it's easy to access. Has lots of functions and community things held over the year as well, such as markets and the Gawler Carols.

You can easily drive past Pioneer Park without noticing it. The Gawler tourist information centre is there if you are looking for help and guidance. The park has a car charging point there for EV owners for free charging. Use the Charge Point app for access. It has a type one plug so bring an adapter if you need a type 2 connection. While charging take a walk around the area including a very nice country park just a little further along Murray street. It’s easy walking and a quiet country feel.

A great space to relax in the heart of gawler. They organise some superb açtivities in this area. Just be careful crossing the road to get there, the traffic is busy.

A well maintained grassed area with seating and a Gazebo available.
This park is managed by the local Gawler Council.
The Gawler Tourism Centre is located to the eastern side with limited parking available.
Many functions are held here throughout the year.

There is a shopping centre located opposite the park. Great for purchasing a quick bite to enjoy on the grass.
A lovely place to relax and enjoy a picnic.
No BBQ's available.
