Very welcoming, refreshing to connect with old friends after a long absence due to the COVID pandemic. The congregation at Peligrim has always been a part of me whenever I am in Adelaide with Raymond, Shanti and grandkids. The choir is excellent. God bless ️

Great organ that used to be the largest in the colony of South Australia that you can here at a liturgy or in a recital. They also run a regular concert series of young musicians students of the Elder music conservatory and others.

Ok not great for functions or events has a strange musty smell similar to a school hall in the 70's.

Soul food sharing worship with empathetic people who also support a range of life enhancing activities as an extension of their core beliefs.

A church that walks with Jesus, calling for personal and societal transformation and social justice for all.

The Bible says in the end times there will be false prophets, false teachers, ungodly churches! They will not follow Biblical Scripture, they will be God haters, wolves disguised as sheep! Woe to these churches, teachers will be especially judged in what they have taught & how they have obeyed God & His Word!
One day we will all come before God's judgement seat Christian & non-Christian & we will all give an account of our life!
Better to tell the truth now & say that you are not a Christian Church anymore! You are apostates, you pretend that you are Christian but you are not! If you Love God you will Obey Him & His Word!
You are doing neither!
Call your self an organization, a charity base, whatever, but cease to call yourself a Christian Church!

Pilgrim Uniting Church has articulated its vision in the following way: "We are called by God to be a prophetic witness in the city of Adelaide, so that new life and vitality will be generated in our city and in its people. We celebrate in our unity and diversity, our shared beliefs and past experiences, and value worship, teaching, creativity and justice. " To quote one member: "Pilgrim embraces people who are at differing stages of their journeys - from those who are very traditional in what they believe through to those who are challenged with new ways of pondering the reality of God and of what the Christian faith means to them. " All are welcome!

Pilgrim's commitment to a ministry of compassionate service following the example of the life and teaching of Christ permeates so much of what happens at Pilgrim. It really is quite wonderful to see the breadth of ways that people are involved, seeking to live out their Christian faith by standing alongside and advocating for those who are in difficult and disadvantaged situations and supporting them in practical ways. Such faithful Christian service serves to create a warm and hospitable place in which all are welcome.

I am part of a group that gathers in front of the church on the first Thursday each month at 5.15pm with people of other faiths and no faith to lament the treatment of asylum seekers by Australia. We share what we are doing about this issue and support each other. I appreciate the way Pilgrim Uniting Church Ministers and congregation stand with the oppressed and marginalised in the community -near and far- consistent with their faith in a God of justice and peace.

Absolute wicked apostate false demonic heretical teaching that denies Scripture, blasphemes Jesus, & hates anything to do with the One True God as taught in the Bible. This church is full of Bible-hating, man-loving, philosophy-worshipping higher critic liberals who do not know God, or His Gospel & will go to hell I am convinced if they do not repent. Thomas Quinton Stow never intended this church to be like this. Anyone who studied the history of this congregational church should know savage wolves have devoured the flock.

Pilgrim Church is a friendly welcoming place, that opens its Lounge each day from 10AM to 2PM each week day, welcoming the visitor and the passer by. It opens the Church each week day from 12 noon to 2 PM to offer a quiet place to sit and pray or meditate. It welcomes people who are searching out their faith and have questions, it also has many folk within its community who feel strong in their faith. For myself the older I get the less sure I am of the certainties of youth, and the more I learn is that it is dangerous to be judgemental. I believe in the centrality of Gospel of Jesus and that is what I hear preached at Pilgrim.
