Our new eating place in Port Lincoln.
Four meals and all excellent and reasonably priced.
Always able to find a convenient park.
Well worth a go.

Family and friends went there this evening for a lovely meal. We have been coming here for 10 years.
We were looked after by the lovely Alana & the team. Everything was spot on and they really looked after us. Beautiful meals & beautiful service.
Thank you Tiffany for giving us the opportunity to come back to the Pier Hotel and leaving us with such a wonderful and positive experience and is so very much appreciated.
Tell anybody wanting the great experience for food and drinks, don’t hesitate to visit the team at Pier Hotel.

Evening meal with friends. Firstly they did not have our booking so for 5 people we had a table for four with an extra seat. There were several items on the menu which were not available.
They do not have table service for food or drink which is ok for food but drinks at the bar you wait in line.
We ordered entre and main, after more than an hour the main arrived before the entre so we sent that back. Waited longer for the entre. Main meals arrived or at least 4 of them. The 5th meal was served some 10 minutes later.
While the food was nice the poor service spoilt the day.
I'd give this one a miss.

The rooms are small and very dated, the exhaust in the bathroom is a problem and we are asked to sign a wager that we have to pay the fine if the alarm rings while we take a shower, which seems really unfair and requires to be fixed by the hotel in the first place.

The good thing was the presence of a common kitchen and options for breakfast.

One of our best dining experiences in Port Lincoln. The Kingfish Laksa was just incredibly good, as were all our meals. We had our dog with us so sat out front and enjoyed the waterfront views, plus the friendly staff provided a dog bowl of water and dog biscuit. Now this is a damn good aussie pub.

I rarely rate a place 5 stars, we had a table of 14 every meal was fantastic, great venue, the staff were friendly and accommodated the allergy requirements of one of our kids. Highly recommend this pub. 23/4/22

Great food, service and double room no. 5 had all necessary areas covered. Loved the food for dinner especially the large size of the beef schnitzel!

Ordered two cocktails and they were awful. We also got the seafood platter to share which was more then average, the only thing that was edible was the s+P squid

I came out on the 4/7/21 to youre venue after work (1: 33am) i understand that you cant accept people after 1am, to which i didnt know. The security you hired are rude and obnoxious and literally turn there back to you.
Now im not one to argue or carry on, i just walked away and moved on. You should think about that though! Its a lasting impression and i wont return.

And the meal sucked eariler in the week, i wasnt going to write a review but there was 2 bad experiences and thought id share with you. Be better.

Staying here for two weeks facilities are good. A very old hotel with all the old country charm.

Good food reasonable prices and friendly staff. Would have loved aome local tuna or whitong but the snapper was delicious.

Just a heads up, food could take up to an hour if busy! There was a sign saying that but easily missed it coz it was just a small note on an A4 size paper! We got our food 50 mins after ordering. Our chicken and beef schnitzel that we ordered was decent but not the greatest! Lost my appetite with that 50 mins wait.

Came here for dinner on our last night in Port Lincoln. The young guy taking orders was so lovely and happy it was a great way to start the night. We ordered the garfish, a beef schnitzel and a chicken Royal pizza. We also had 1/2 Dozen Thai oysters and the garlic bread which was fantastic. The food was yummy and we had a great night. Would definitely come again.

We went there for some beers and food. The girl in the bar was very rude (assuming me and my friends are not locals). Food took hours to arrive.
Would never recommend for anyone!

This foreshore staple serves pub food with flare. Sit out front and watch Port Lincoln parade by.

Stopped in for dinner one night, figured I would order the salt and pepper squid seeing they collaborate with "The fresh fish place" (noted on their menu)
was a bit disappointing, pepper in the crumb was was too overpowering and the squid was chewy, i left a bit underwhelmed and still hungry.the chips were good and my wife enjoyed the loaded bowl of wedges (gives this review an extra star)

Our family ate dinner at the Pier Hotel. The food was delicious and generous in its proportions. Every member of staff was friendly and happy.

Coming from adelaide to stay 1 night at the pier hotel we thought was great. On arrival staff every friendly dont doubt them. However the pub turned into a night club very loud we were told on arrival that it will be loud (we shouldve been told before hand and wouldve booked somewhere else), people are rude and dont care about other people, running down the hall way, yelling screaming and carrying on.toilets and bathrooms are run down

I had an opportunity to dine at the hotel recently after some of the Covid-19 restrictions had been lifted. I've generally been happy eating there before and this time I chose from the specials board. The potato and cauliflower soup was a brilliant start along with the terrific garlic bread. The chicken pasta had sold out so it was obviously popular so I chose the lamb curry, I loved it, I'd been tossing up between the two dishes so maybe next time it will the one I choose. Congratulations & well done considering all the issues we've had to endure:)

Really desappointed by this hostel. We slept there a night in june. Don't deserve their two stars: Cold home, old and dirty bedroom and bathroom. Need a lot of renovation, moisture on the walls. Unappetizing breakfast (we have to disfrozen the bread.), we have to do everything ourselves, even the cleaning. Not any airconditionning, only a small heater and a ventilator.
If you need to spend a night at port lincoln, you should choose another hostel.
