Phuong Yen Restaurant reviews
55First time visit to restaurant, got take away and it was absolutely delish. Would recommend omelette, special fried rice and white noodles with chicken.
This restaurant is always a good place to have a great dinner with my family. All the foods here are tasty, not too much salty and good portioned. I hope this restaurant will be long lasting to serve foods to who love asian foods like me.
Best Special Fried Rice, best Hokkien noodles, great food overall. Wish they did Uber or some sort delivery.
Excellent food! Taste better than most Chinese cuisine! Impressive! Especially the Wok Hay in the special fried rice, really nice!
Phuong yen restaurant serves delicious dishes for everyone that likes to feast and taste fresh food I was there with a group of friends and family and we all had a banquet.mmm.
Yummy food and great atmosphere.keep up the good work.
Love it for the consistency and value for money home styled Vietnamese food. Great for large groups too.
Love this place! My friends and I eat here every few months.
The staff is friendly and helpful, the food came out quick and hot!
Servings are always huge and pricing is very reasonable.
Highly recommend a try.
This is my first time dining here, so enjoy with their service and foods. This restaurant got a special meal which is 3 main courses and a free soup with only $48 (steamed rice $1.50/person) is really deserve. Many choices of dishes and reasonable price. Highly recommend and I will come again
Update 22/12/2022
Always been here since my first visit 3years ago, food and service as good as usual.
Above average food, very nice serving sizes.
The customer service is very so-so.
Waitress are very rude, came In with my daughter and they tried to man-handle her as if she was their own, on top of that we had ordered seafood broccolini and it came out with more greens and barely any seafood, got the vegan soup and it came out with meat in it.end rating would be 2 stars. VERY AVERAGE, WOULD NOT RECOMMEND!
Great food. Very popular with Asians (Thats a good thing!) Recommend Beef in Black Bean. Haven't tried the Crocodile (yet). The decor is very dated but the food is worth it!
Poor service mains brought out over an hour apart table of ten nearly everyone ate on there own
Firstly we were pleasantly surprised by how busy the restaurant was. The staff were friendly, helpful & attentive which was great. My Mum & I ordered the chicken satays for entree which came out straight away & were delicious! We then had the sweet & sour chicken + king prawns with veggies for our mains. We both enjoyed these & the portions were huge! Over all good friendly service, great tasting meals & value for money. We will be back!
My partner and I live 5 mins away from this place so as our local chinese shop, we had to try it. Our favourite dishes conclude of the chicken and beef curries, pork and plum sauce, the special fried rice and steam dim sim. Highly recommend for anyone that’s looking for a good feed. Very good prices too!
Have been a regular customer for many years. Excellent customer service and the food is always fresh and delicious.
Ordered takeaway from this restaurant tonight. 4 main dishes and a steamed rice. All of the dishes didn’t taste right. Hardly any meat in the sweet and sour pork and very doughy. The rice tasted like it was a few days old and very dry. We had to throw the food out and order food from another restaurant. Very disappointing
Very friendly staff and quick service. The food, decor and atmosphere match unfortunately not in a good way. Dated, not very careful and average. The food was average and full of corn starch and not balanced. The noodles were under cooked and rushed before mixing well. The tofu dish was the best. The Sichuan beef did not taste Sichuan at all. It was full of tomato paste instead! The theme is not clear not Vietnamese nor Chinese.
It was not a good experience overall.
Great food, good atmosphere, it can be quite busy here so book a table or get in early!
Definitely a place I would recommend. Good serving sizes too
The service was great and the food not bad. Real shame about the stained table cloths and need for a new dining room all together. The tables and chairs looked like they needed throwing out.
Great food and staff but staff should offer chopsticks as an option with the provided fork and spoon. It would make the dining experience far more enjoyable.
