Persian Grocery reviews
12It's like a paradise of spices and condiments and amazing things that can only be imagined. A very polite and courteous gentleman runs the store. Cannot be missed if u r around this area.
Big selection but as other reviewers have pointed out.some items on the shelves are out of date. I didn't realise my product was expired 3 months ago until I got home and read the label by chance whilst eating. This really needs to be looked into because the shop itself has great potential!
It has everything you are looking for. Staff are ok but not great with customer service. Its still good to go for what you need
Always great to visit and get the authentic flavours. It is just the place for childhood memories and business endeavours.
Good place for Persian groceries, they have pretty much everything. Hope they bring Lunex sour-cherry juice and then it would be perfect.
Great produce and great customer service. I am 10 btw. He was so kind, and sweet, if u are reading this u are so kind
Always an excellent experience where it's possible to get things unavailable elsewhere.
Wide range of Asian/Middle eastern goods at really affordable prices! It has everything you can think of and more! Wide range of spices, rice, tea, canned goods, pickles, sweets, nuts/seeds and much much more! This store is a major wholesaler for numerous stores in Adelaide and around Australia. You might as well buy direct and avoid extra costs!
Love the peach tea. The staff was nice and friendly. He introduced us a few popular items and had a nice talk with us
Excellent product range at very affordable prices (an important business feature for pensioners like myself). Wholeheartedly recommend. Customer service could be somewhat better by simply getting off the phone with an absent clientele and allowing few minutes of active attention to the present buyers and/or potential ones.
Found this place on Google while travelling in SA from Victoria.
Many items on the shelves were out of date. Of course for someone with little or no knowledge of the Persian calendar, it is hard to identify them.
So, we decided to inform the owner/person at the counter about them and his reaction was neither polite, nor appollogetic or regretful.
He denied or claim and asked us to show him an example, which we did straight away.
Then he indirectly explained to us that we should be thankful to find the Persian stuff even if they are out of date due to whatever reason.
So that was the first and only time that we have visited the supermarket and not willing to go there anymore.
There wasn't such a thing as customer service or so and we want to get healthy food for our family, not the things that are supposed to go to the bin.
Hopefully they correct the way that they're conducting the business.
