Perrymans Bakery reviews
42Our family have enjoyed Perryman's Bakery for the past 35+ years. Even after leaving North Adelaide we have regularly returned to partake of their delicious baked goods. The service is usually pleasant but on Thursday the 10th of June we were subjected to disgusting attitude when pointing out that a mistake had been made with our order. There were two people serving, one was lovely, the other with? Darker reddish hair who took and served our order needs a personality transplant and customer service training. This experience was extremely upsetting and took away our appetites.
Had been coming here for years for the cheese and bacon pie but then after returning from interstate after 3 months they no longer do it… super disappointed but had the pepper steak pie and it was delicious but not the same. Bring back the bacon and cheese!
Great location, food good, service appalling, you would think you ruined their day by walking in
Ordered a birthday cake with personalised message on it. They forgot to make it. Worst bakery ever!
But wait, they messaged me later that day and offered to deliver the originally ordered cake free of charge the following day.
It was delicious.
Xx.
Delicious potato pie. Crunchy flaky pastry.
Filling not too spicy. Perfect gravy inside of pie.
Beautiful little bakery loaded with fine treats and good old-fashioned style pastries. Lovely staff provide great customer service.
Best pies in adelaide hands down! Try the thai green curry saudage roll too, it is delicious (and not spicey)
Great range of savoury and sweet options. Very friendly service. Pleasant outdoor seating area. 5 Star chocolate donuts
One of my favourite bakeries. The German style Apple strudel is my guilty pleasure for a midweek afternoon pick me up with a good coffee.
Had another great lunch at the bakery. The Mushroom and Steak pie was very good with a moist sauce and nice pastry, my girlfriend loved her meat and veg pasty (no peas in it if that matter to you), and the apple danish was not too sweet and excellent!
Service was a bit rushed and impatient, presumably because only one person was serving and there was a queue forming. I ordered a potato pie, but it was undercooked and quite sloppy. Will give it a miss in future when I have a pie craving.
Omg I had the lamb feta and beetroot sausage roll and it was heaven! The pastry was amazing; soft, buttery, and crisp! Coffee was delish and great service. Highly recommend
Often bypass this place because one forgets it is there, but it is worth a visit. Good coffee on the go and decision of what to buy from extensive food range is a hard choice. Friendly staff and a surprise gingerbread man on top of my coffee lid makes that special difference.
Excellent boutique bakery for the savoury food. Love the thai chicken sausage rolls.
Not a big fan of their sweet items. Nothing wrong with them, I just wished they'd use more fresh cream.
Thanks for these cakes Perrymans Bakery. Really appreciate you’ve accepted my order in short notice. I highly recommend the Mud Cake guys (Its really to die for)
Small and overpriced items. Have been overcharged on occasion. One time I asked for a bread roll in a basket that had the price on it; they charged me more because it was bigger than the small rolls in the basket. If you're going to have two sizes of bread rolls in the same basket, you should display both prices. There are better bakeries nearby.
First class catering as usual. Enjoyed delicious cocktail pies, pasties and other savouries as well as sweet for a function last night. The profiteroles were to die for. Was hoping to take some home but all were devoured swiftly. Thanks Perryman’s.
Every day pastries, meat pies, pasties and sausage rolls are good, very good. Note for Christmas, mince pies especially the pastry you use.worst I have ever tasted. Sorry.
The staff are so nice! THE GIRLS ARE VERY GOOD LOOKING! I did a podcast some years ago found this amazing. The french founded thiss bakery from HEAVEN.:)
