Found everything I was looking for, with the help of some very friendly and helpful locals!
Our regular grocery spot. Has pretty much everything I need for my dietary needs. Staff are awesome. Friendly and knowledgeable about their stock. Nothing is too much trouble
If not for the IGA being open when we visited the place is boring as hell. We came on a ship and no stores where open in time. Boring!
Extremely rude cashiere. I guess she knows there's nowhere else to get groceries nearby.
Wow people said groceries were expensive on Kangaroo Island and they weren't wrong so we only got the essentials
Has all the essentials good quality prices up compared to the mainland but to be expected with additional freight cost
Wonderful staff and service, truly excellent range of local produce, beautiful giftware, all the essentials, even gourmet gems from around the world that you can’t get anywhere else! Thank you Penneshaw IGA, now there’s no reason at all to ever leave the island ;)
Can’t say I’ve ever been moved to review a supermarket before, but this place is more than that. It’s got everything you need, plus the friendly welcome of a local store, particularly thanks to Shane and Kate.
Amazing service quality. Each clerk here seems to serve you individually. As long as you have a confused expression on your face, the staff will take the initiative to ask you what you need and tell you where the goods are. It’s been four years since I came to Australia. I didn’t expect the best service in Australian supermarkets to be hidden on Kangaroo Island in South Australia. The photo of Kangaroo Island proves that I’m not bluffing.
Intresting store, has unusual products to view and buy. Loved looking through everything, to eat and for Xmas gifts.
Very expensive, lucky we brought enough supplies over from the mainland, also was charged more then the price displayed.
Great place to shop when you get off the Ferry to load Forgetton daily items.

Recently had the pleasure of shopping in your pennashaw store. Great variety and such friendly staff.
Lovely accommodation with distant views of the Bay. Clean, comfortable beds and great heating. Enjoyed the 3 days I spent there with my granddaughter.
Always grab a caesar salad or chicken roll when over here for work, cheapest lunch for non holiday goers. Friendly staff always up for a yarn.
