Pelican Retreat / Stay and Relax

The good - Cottage was clean and well equiped. Rooms were a good size and beds were comfy.
The bad - The squeaky floors were really bad. If you got up in the middle of the night it would wake your partner. Being told that we had to strip the bed before we left? If we wanted to use the outdoor heater we had to take the cylinder to the servo and pay to have it refilled ourselves? Lastly some decent tea towels that actually dried would be good. We know you are wanting a 5 star rating but unfortunately with the above mentioned issues, it's not a 5.

Location was perfect and the place neat and tidy, loved the extras and being able to take our dog.

Maybe the most spotless place we have ever been. Very nice. Decoreted with good taste.

Great place, wonderful location, well equipped, everything was clean and ready to use and we even had a little visiting every morning.

Our little puppy loved the stones in the pots, sorry if some have moved pots.

Upon arrival dirty glass found in sink.
When dishwasher was used, very wet once finished, still needed to dry with tea towel, maybe needs a little rinse aide.
Outside bins not easy to read what goes in each bin for non locals.
Other than the odd daily pricing, a great stay had by us all.
