We loved this place. Attentive service, great ambience, good wine, impressive and imaginative dishes. Excellent kingfish sashimi, tratziki and perfectly cooked fish and chips. The unexpectedly standout dish was the BBQ radicchio.

We took friends visiting from the UK here for lunch on Australia Day. We chose to share a small starter and three main dishes between the four of which left is with a little room for desert. The food was all delicious - our selections informed by the friendly, efficient and attentive staff (but not too attentive - e.g. I hate it when staff hover). The view is amazing - we could see down the beach to the North and the South from our table inside. This is a casual beachside restaurant with beautiful fresh seafood and an interesting local wine list. Food is prepared and served by people who know what they're doing and take care to ensure you have all that's needed to enjoy a fabulous meal, at a reasonable price in a beautiful part of the world. We'll be back to sample some of the dishes we didn't get to try, and to have some of those we did all over again!

Fresh great quality produce put together in effective simple yet stunning combinations

When I booked this restaurant I had high hopes. Unfortunately a few things let it down. We arrived just before 12 for the first sitting and it took 15 minutes for us to be seated. With only a 2 hour sitting I felt this could have been done quicker. Food was OK but I felt it was overpriced. We paid $10 for the olive starter which only had 10 small olives in it. We sat outside on the northern side of the restaurant right out the front of the kitchen window. With all the noise from the kitchen including the music they had playing it was impossible to have a conversation. One positive was the wine list was which looked to be well thought out.

Great place to be. Fantastic view over the beaches, nice and fast service, delicious food. It is full pleasure if the chefs ideas are matching to your desires perfectly. The best place I found during my 3 weeks in Australia. The only mistake with this restaurant is the size - just to big to take it with me. ;-)

The restaurant is Quite expensive for the style of menu, eg $41 for fish and chips, 3 small pieces, cold slaw and a few chips.

The kiosk side charges $12 for wine but serves it in plastic cups, not good enough

Late lunch - we had share plates - food was fantastic as was the service. The cheese with the honey -so good! The large chilli and garlic prawns - fantastic. The filo and custard dessert and the orange and almond biscotti just topped it all off perfectly! The view down at the beach was lovely even on a cold windy day. Service was outstanding. Thank you we really enjoyed our experience at Pearl.

Last minute stop in for lunch didn't disappointment at Pearl. Steamed mussels with tomato, fresh garlic and bread. Snapper & chips. Crisp Prawns with chilli and Garlic. All absolutely delicious. The whole experience was even better due to our waitress the lovely Miss Gemma whom was so friendly, professional and knowledgeable. Talked me into a wonderful glass of red from a new winery Somos which we are going to now. Definitely a highlight of our SA trip. Highly recommend a lunch here.

Loved this place! Was our first time visiting and we loved the food, the wine list, the staff and the view. What more could you ask for? Can't wait to go back.

Perfect lunch for a Sunday, terrific menu with share plates. Very classy upmarket food. Outstanding service and great choice of local wines.

Food was average at best, way over priced for what you get, absolutley ridiculous, the manager is arrogant, not customer focused at all!

I have to say our visit here didn’t start up well. The staff mate some mistakes on our order and we where going to leave but they handled it so so well. Very impressed. Ended up being a beautiful lunch and we felt very well looked after. Thank you and well done.

5 star service from when we entered until we left. Friendly and attentive service without being intrusive. Amazing food, we had shared platters of whitebait, mussels and sardines. Incredible view. Will definitely be back.

Loved this place. It was packed (we had booked for late lunch/early dinner) and we got a good outside table with decent shade. The ambience was humming. Staff were v friendly and attentive despite needing to rush around. We shared most things between the four of us. The whole flathead was probably most outstanding although the fries were as good as it gets. The muscles and bread were good. Garlic prawns were excellent as was the saganaki. Will be back! Decent Frederick Stevenson chardonnay - although we are still working our way around the postmodern take on Tennant's Lager cans from the 1980s!

This place is excellent!
My teenage daughter and our 2 dogs came across Pearl by luck today, arrived about 2pm without a booking but they were more than happy to accommodate us on an outside table with awesome sea views.
We shared truly amazing Kingfish, beautiful Calarmari and very moorish oregano salted chips - everything was so delicious.
Staff and service also very good.
We’ll definitely be back!
As a bonus it’s right on the beach so a stroll with doggies after lunch was an added bonus.

First time eating here and having read the reviews I was hesitant about what to expect. Was not disappointed, the food was sensational, service exceptional and the price not over the top for the four of us. Will admit that wine is not cheap - the cheapest bottle $60. Tapas style set up, waitress recommended 8-10 dishes but we opted for
6-7 for the four of us and that was enough without being stuffed. Can’t wait to eat here again.

Came here for a lil lunch with the girls before heading home to adl. The place is absolutely stunning. Service was a tiny bit slow at first but they were busy (and sympathise myself as a Hospo worker), a lovely girl with dark curly hair served us and helped cater towards one of us who is coeliac. We were pressed for time but she made sure to tell the kitchen to bring food out asap. Our food was so quick and was absolutely delicious. We had the pan-fried squid, broccolini, pumpkin, and fries. Haven’t had such flavoursome fresh food at a restaurant before, the squid was absolutely beautiful, all plates polished. Drinks were prompt and views made it all that much better. Bonus points for the cute curly haired boy who seated us and major bonus points for L. A Woman by ‘The Doors’ playing on the speakers. Very satisfied, keep it up Pearl

A fantastic vegetarian meal. Possibly the best I have ever tasted plus a wonderful atmosphere and friendly service.
