I have been attending this practice since they first opened. They maintain their very high quality of patient care. Recommend it to everyone!

Great doctors that spend the time required to understand you and your health. They take time to discuss all findings and possibly outcomes. Booking online and text message reminders are very helpful to get the best fit for a busy diary. They are not cheap, but you get what you pay for. Highly recommended.

Dr Ingrid seems to work to some pro forma, I have seen her twice and both times felt that she is more focussed on her computer than on me, very little eye contact. She doesn’t seem to like people having agency in their own health and both times has made heaps of assumptions about me. Nothing is simple with her and all her plans for my treatment involve me spending more money. Not a fan.

I strongly discourage individuals from considering this particular clinic due to my extremely negative experience. During an iron infusion procedure, there was a leakage that resulted in a permanent stain in my arm. The practice had initially assured me that such occurrences were exceptionally rare, but this turned out to be untrue. The risk level associated with this procedure in this clinic is alarmingly high. I am sharing this review to prevent anyone else from enduring the devastating experience I went through. The response I received from the management team was simply sorry and emphasizing that I had been aware of the risks involved. However, it was not my own fault for trusting this clinic. I implore you to prioritize your well-being and seek services from another reputable clinic instead.

Nice clinic, very good doctors but please get a few more reception staff to take calls, waiting times can be well over half an hour. And that 2 minute dialogue before you’re even placed in queue is too much.

Long story short: my first appointment was $174.

I explain:
My doctor was fantastic and very kind.
What I didn't like is: You are booked to have a long appointment (30 minutes booking). No option for standard appointment. It took me 10 minutes.
I just wanted to get prescription for my medication! And the appointment costed me 174 AUD. (Before rebate).

If in the booking I got an estimation of the fees, I'd not go.fees are in the website but doesn't show up during booking process (cheeky).

I insist.the doctor was very good. It's not about the staff (also front desk was very good). But pricing policy and disclosing the cost just at the end. I didn't like that. I don't know if doctor or owner / manager is responsible for that.

I have been attending this practice since they first opened the practice with Dr K McLaughlin and Dr E Carroll. My entire family now attends. I usually see Dr Kristen who is an outstanding GP knowledgeable personable thorough and most importantly pro active. Cannot recommend this practice enough to anyone. All the doctors here are excellent.

Hello - I am very happy with Pear Tree Family Practice and my doctor there. It is a very friendly professional clinic and my doctor is excellent. She is considerate, thoughtful, nuanced and listens and then provides positive counter solutions to whatever is ailing me at the time. I had an excellent doctor in Sydney too, when I lived there and now here - and this was not without a few trials and errors and moving on when not happy. Basically the reason for moving on from gps is for Not listening and hearing what I was really saying and only providing a 'thin' answer or the treatment is unsuitable and not helpful.

$40 for a 5 minute phone call that turned out to be a false alarm. Not seeing the value in paying specialist prices for a GP here, just go somewhere that bulk bills.

I just had my first initial consult with one of the doctors at PearTree Family practice and absolutely blown away! Since my old GP retired, I've been on the search for a GP that JUST CARES. I absolutely echo all the reviews on here. The doctor was amazing, caring, thoughtful and comprehensive. I'm so glad my wife and I have moved to this practice.

The entire team is amazing to work with from reception, doctors and even their processes. Highly recommend. Their COVID practices are strong, the office is in the heart of Glenelg so easy access from public transport. Highly recommend. Thank you PearTree Family Practice.

Got my covid jab here and the doctors/staff were very nice. Didn't have a problem and would recommend.
EDIT: had my second dose and again had no problems. Would still recommend.

I have never been to a Doctor more caring and thorough. I would recommend this practice for anyone looking for their long term Doctor.
