Peacock Gardens Chinese & Thai Restaurant

Friendly service in a great location. Nice spring rolls. Loved the decor and atmosphere. Reasonably priced. I ordered garlic prawns which were creamy and tasty. My husband ordered fried rice which he said was very tasty. We shared a pot of Chinese tea. I recommend this place if you are in Port Lincoln & looking for quality food.

Stopped in for lunch. We were visiting from Western Australia, and this has to be one of the best Chinese restaurants I have been to. The food was fresh and tasty, the service was fantastic and a very clean and well presented restaurant.

Great place to eat for any occasion. Great service always with a smile. Good menu variety. Massaman duck is my go to dish.

Divine… everything was spot on. Service was excellent even with a full restaurant. Cannot fault them. Totally recommend you try when in Port Lincoln.

To me Chinese food is pretty much the same wherever you go, but a big shout out to the Peacock Gardens as the food was great. We had a banquet for two and everything from the chicken and corn soup to the beef and black bean and all in between were good. We even took our leftovers with us for late night snacking.

Had lunch here today… delicious. Thai king prawns with basil were amazing. Satay combination a very close second! Great service despite them being 2 staff short and it was quite busy. Lovely waitress… friendly and attentive. Would definitely return to try more dishes.

Very affordable real Asian food, staff served us with friendly smile and food surprised us that it really tasted delicious. Surely be back again in our next visit and will make sure to dine not just take away. So many food choices in their menu.shall try Thai cuisine.

A last minute decision for an evening out, we were so glad that we decided to give this restaurant a try. Even though it was a very busy evening, they fitted us in with no booking with no trouble at all. Delicious meals were had by all and we were served with lovely, friendly staff. I would definitely recommend you give them a go the next time you are in Port Lincoln. 10/10

Great food, it was busy but didn’t wait too long. Highly recommend the beef black bean sauce and kingfish sweet and sour. Fresh and packed full of veggies. Would definitely make this our go to take away place if we lived here!

Great decor in restaurant and food has great flavours. Service is well done. A very popular restaurant as it was booked out and no wonder as the food is cooked wonderfully. A very extensive menu so you are sure to find a dish ro your liking.

Visited from Adelaide. Was so impressed we returned the next night. Very accommodating to fit us in both nights without a booking. Lovely food and reasonable prices. Highly recommend!

Abit basic. Think menu has too much of it instead of perfecting a few dishes. The overiding view amongst our group was blandness. On plus side, lots of vegetarian options as well as different asian cuisines.

Traditional Chinese, with some Thai and Malaysian on the menu also.
Id rate it as great authentic and fresh Chinese. The flavors and servings are good.
But I wouldn’t say there is any real WOW factor.
Sometimes the wait is a little long but worth it.
The staff are friendly and give good service.

Another lovely evening at our favourite place to eat in Port Lincoln. Always delicious, always friendly and always good value. Honey chicken, Hong Kong beef, Chop Suey vegetables and fried rice.

Visited this place last night. The food and service was great! Really enjoyed it. Cannot fault at all.

Good food, plenty of choice. Were shared multiple dishes among my wife, myself and 3year old son, no complaints from us or the other people in the restaurant, it was as busy as covid 19 restrictions allowed. All staff gave friendly service. Nice modern place. The wine list was small, but we found something we liked. Bill didnt break the bank either.
