Payneham Swimming Centre

Used to come here throughout my primary school years, as it probably has changed so much since I was last here

Back in the day we had so much fun, and probably would still have the same fun when we were little kids as well

A great clean outdoor pool.
Big changing area, but I think it needs more private cubicles to feel less exposed.
Could do with a lifeguard to stay at the deep end, they like to wonder off some times.

Nice swimming pools for all ages! But the changing room / showroom has no doors which is make it uncomfortable to change especially when you have kids.

Great staff, friendly helpful and supportive. Facilities also great. Good choice of pools. Was sad there was no games for Oz day like advertised my son was a little disappointed as I promised him there would be. I thought the water slods and obstacles course wall well managed to. Staff did a tremendous job for today's heat and demand!

Great 50m pool, very clean and clear water, friendly, staff, Matt was very helpful with my new seasons pass. This pool is not busy, wonderful swim. Another great swim today. Lots of kiddies, 3 pools for them, what a wonderful delight to see the enjoyment.

It's ok, has an eighties feel to it, which is probably because it hasn't been renovated since then! My local council website says there is a redevelopment happening there, although I can't seem to find out when or what they will be doing there. Some water playgrounds and waterslides would be great:)

Great way to spend a hot afternoon in and out of the water and plenty of space to relax around the pools.

Amazing pools. Three different areas - toddlers, young learners and grown up Swimmers. It is open swimming pool. There are ample picnic spaces. You can come with a rug to pass relaxed time. There are are shades also. Good toilets and shower facilities.

I love this pool. The water is clean and fresh and the staff are friendly and helpful. On a hot summer's day, you also have the advantage of shade from the tall gums which border the pool. I often have a lane to myself. It's a gem.

Really nice pool and grounds. Plenty of shade from the trees, more bench shade is needed though.

Old fashion pool but still nice. Small pool too shallow and cold but overall rest is good. Reception people nice and friendly.

It's a good place just to swim and there may be some classes that run here, for example I do squad classes there. The only issue is that it's pretty cold which is average for an outdoor pool but it is basically the only issue it you are just going there for swimming.

Great outdoor pool (less chlorine and wonderful blue sky and fresh breeze), and amazing staff! I lost my cards couple of weeks ago and Shane from Payneham swimming centre took the trouble to return it to ARC, Campbelltown (where I take my son) for me. Very much appreciated. Thank you Shane, and all from Payneham Swimming Centre.

The last time I checked, this place was closed THE ENTIRE SUMMER. How warm was the summer? An endless heatwave.

Friendly, funny staff that are good with children. Clean pool, however more shaded areas would be beneficial.

Terrible service. One lune open to public and overcrowded. All others are for groups. Impossible to swim at all. There was no sign that there are no room for swimmers otherwise we wouldn't go

Cheap, there is a large space and many green areas, the problem is sometimes it became crowded and no place to swim.

A lovely place with almost every facility you would like. The only downside is that the swimming lanes can get too busy and that it doesn't have anywhere to do some diving.

Relaxed, not crowded place for families with a toddler pool, waist height pool and lap pool. Kiosk available for refreshments and inexpensive.

The swimming club was amazing to us at the carnival. Lifeguards and the barista were also great
