Parkside Hotel reviews
82Came in for a quick drink and was very impressed of the service.lovely greeting as we came in and fantastic way the staff was dressed and looked sharp.the music level was perfect which made the drink even better as you can communicate without a issue.will be coming back more and telling others. Steve was the person who served us it’s people like this which is hard to find in this industry well done.
Had a lovely dinner at the Parkside last night. Food was tasty and there was plenty of room in the playground area for our large group, including kids. Excellent, fast service too.
Went here two nights in a week and it was great. Food was delicious. The service was always great, they were friendly. Love that they gave us cold water for free. Ordered pizzas which were great. The flatbread was delicious. Tomohawk steak was amazing, can’t go wrong with the chips either. Drinks were so good! The atmosphere was great on both nights, all tables filled. The restaurant layout is massive making it great for pub goers or family dining.
Restaurant standard food for a pub. Ordered the $160 Tomahawk to share amongst a family of 7, cooked perfectly for our order of rare & comes with fries & a fennel salad. Pumpkin salad was delicious with the spices that were used. The only downfall were the pizzas, a bit doughy & thick. Would definitely recommend their salad & steak.
Fantastic hotel, absolutely loved the food and atmosphere! Been a couple of times now, they consistently deliver top quality
Even on a busy Friday night, the service was fantastic and the food came out quickly. Everything was delicious, kudos to all the staff
Good food and service. Wide choice of food and wine. Tastefully upgraded since my last visit. Easy parking adjacent and easy convenient reservation process. Well worth a visit!
Loved the atmosphere and the way staffs treat you. Talking about the foods! Awwh word's aren't enough
Turned up at 12pm for lunch today on a Monday. Booking for two. Had to move several tables because the table tops and seating areas had not been cleaned. Crumbs and other food debris as well as sticky table tops from food and drink spills from dining use. There was also full sun coming in the windows in several seating spots, which made it hotter than other seating spots, Some blinds or curtains would be advantageous on a hot day like today.
There were only two staff members on and they needed at least one or two more. The saving grace for the Parkside Hotel was that the food didn’t take long to come out once ordered and the food was AMAZING! Mains and desserts were delicious.
A lovely surprise for our 5 year old with flowers and a kinder surprise to celebrate her birthday with family. Thanks team at the Parkside
Beautifully renovated premises, the staff are all very helpful and friendly. Those requiring GF menu are well accommodated for. My only criticism is there weren’t any options for lighter dishes such as salads, but that being said meals were beautifully served and tasted wonderful.
Disappointing.
Seafood chowder was flavourless and watery.
Cheesey Cauliflower was dry and overdone.
Rump steak was also overdone and chewy.
Redwine Jus was delicious and chips were perfect.
Shame the food was below average because the staff were both friendly & professional & the surroundings were very pleasant.
No coke, only Pepsi.
More than happy to pay $35 for seafood crowder, but very little serve with 1 prawn 4 cockles 2 muscles and a quarter price of fish, everything was yum and fresh just on the chowder I was a bit disappointed
A very modern and clean hotel. The food was great and came out quickly. Staff seemed quite friendly, however they did appear to be understaffed for the size of the venue.
I hate it when reviews start with "I've been coming here for.time and yadda yadda yadda" but, I have been coming to the Parkside occasionally for a few years and it's always been alright, not a bad selection of beers, back bar is not bad. Tonight we ordered a meal that was subpar but Blake, being the little miracle man that he is turned our frowns upside down. He made sure that things were handled professionally but also in a friendly and endearing manner.
Great place, great atmosphere. Had the Kingfish but it was overcooked and tough - such a shame to do that to such a beautiful (and very expensive) fish. Otherwise delightful.
Best place to eat in Adelaide with really warm and friendly staff! We were blown away and so impressed by the service and presentation of everything. Food is really fresh, tasty and well presented. The burrata cheese with heirloom tomatoes and the flat bread with olives and dip are highly recommended!
The chef is also so friendly and passionate about the dishes served. Can’t wait to go back again: D
I had the cauliflower gnocchi and it was delicious, probably one of the better Gnocchi I have had in Adelaide. My partner had the Schnitzel which looked tasty also!
My wife and I had lunch in the dining room, the food was fantastic. Our waiter Blake made our experience memorable, please give him our thanks. We will be coming back!
