OTR Kingston SE

Shouldn’t take over 30 minutes to make a loaded breakfast. With only two/three customers who only got something from the heated grill.when I questioned why it took so long. To get my meal. The redwoods I got was “Oh just waiting on the tomatoes to cook”. Wait tomatoes take that long to cook. Stuff was so rude. Imagine if it was busy peak holiday period how would they deal with customers then.

I stopped for a pie and toilet stop, but I was shocked to find a USED CONDOM on the toilet seat!

Kingston is a relative small costal township population under 2500 so limited takeaway food option after BH. OTR provides the typical service station take away food options that can satisfy your hunger but not in a healthy way. Early morning call in with 3 staff prep'ing for the days trade. Lots of food and drink options. Give the barrista thumbs up for our visit who made excellent take away coffee. Like many conveinence take away, coffee can be a bit miss and hit but ours was good. Lots of fuel bowers for customer speed however paying for same slowed up inside due to customers ordering food before me.
One of the better convienence stores to visit if required.

Best hot chocolate I tasted in a while. Amazing hot chocolate and cappuccino was served by Yogi, loved it. Highly recommend everyone to take a stop here. Cheers

Stopped in early today (8 am 13th Jan) for quick cuppa and a snack. 35 mins later got what we ordered. Not good enough, sorry

Your average OTR with Subway restaurant, but a great deal busier in the Christmas and Easter holiday periods.
Best to avoid it if it's packed to the rafters, but otherwise okay.

Bought pies from there today and they were cold. If I die, it’s because #salmonella.also toilets were filthy and the one clean toilet had no toilet paper. Shelves all over the store hadn’t been faced up with gaps everywhere. Staff were pleasant but huge lines to pay. More staff needed.

Really disappointing. There were at least 15 customers waiting to pay for fuel, order food etc, and there were plenty of staff to serve them all but they just stood talking to each other and taking no notice of the growing queue of people. Honestly, I don't know why OTR bother acknowledging all the terrible feedback when clearly absolutely nothing has changed for months and months.

Don't understand the complaints.three times the staff to any city store. Called in twice on on our road trip this week and the staff were fantastic. The ladies thought the toilets were clean. Us blokes all got well feed well. And the staff were up for a chat and a laugh. Obviously they just get rude selfish customers. Try being nice and you might find the staff more welcoming.

Went to Kingston OTR today. Never again. The build up of food and dirt on floors, especially in the eating area was disgusting. Tables were not wiped down. Obviously cleanliness is not a priority by management.

Update. April 20th '22 Sad to report a decline in service. Staff closed a register for petrol payments and seemed oblivious to the growing queue behind a frail, slow gent with multi purchases at the coffee counter. When asked if she could let me pay & leave, she regailed the queue with a reminder of how busy the w/end had been. No recognition of customers wanting to pay quickly, go to the toilet or get out of the crowded counter area. If you are too busy to attend to customers, put up a sign in the driveway to let people know you'd prefer they go elsewhere.

A nice, clean well presented midway stop for long dives in the SE. Shop has good choice of supplies and staff are friendly.

Horrible experience. Very evil and deranged management. Avoid this petrol station at all costs.

The poor young girl who served me said she could not allow me to pay for my fuel unless I was to wear a mask because of the owners orders. It was clear she is terrified of the repercussions if she did so. She said I could however buy a mask and put it on for $2 (logic not even once).

I then asked to speak to the owner who then came out and threatened to call the police if I continue to refuse to put a mask on. Very foul and evil woman. Fortunately my partner has a medical mask exemption and they allowed her to pay but not before the owner was outside taking photos of my vehicle like a textbook "karen".

Cannot believe the rudeness of the large blonde woman that works at OTR in Kingston. Not sure of her name but she left in a blue car (possibly a Holden Cruze or similar).

I don’t know who is Lizzie, wrong name on my cup, and I ordered grand cappuccino and chai latte both no sugar, but still sweet….

My wife went to subway and no one could be bother to serve her they looked at her and kept chatting maybe because the conversation was paying there wages. Amazing I wish I had a job where I could chat to friends and get paid at the same time.well done give you a laziness rating 100% they need a pay rise!

Don't know if you guys used used coffee grounds for my long black or if you even put any coffee grinds in the head, but my coffee was absolutely disgusting. When I said "nothing in my coffee", I still did want some coffee in it, not just hot water.

Great friendly service, had some dim sims and chips they were fresh and tasty, we also had a toasted ham cheese and tomato sandwich that also had bacon and cheese on top of it, will be going back for the same order, thanks for the service

Pretty disappointing that the staff are not trained to complete a credit card transaction over the phone!

Toilets were a mess.
Subway was average.
Bacons bun, sausage roll and coffee were good.
