Went to check out OTown a cute little Malaysian Restaurant in China Town. We ate the Singapore Fried Noodles and Curry Fish Fillet Noodles.
Singapore Friend Noodles - had a lovely flavour with fresh Prawns and was not too oily which was great. It also had a good hint of chilli.
The Curry Fish Fillet Noodle Soup had a lovely coconut Curry flavour and fresh Barramundi Fillets mixed with Tofu. Really loved this dish.

Staff are always friendly and food comes up very quickly. All the dishes are reasonably priced as well with generous portions.

Would definately go back again

Visited a few times. Food are of consistently good quality. Plenty of choices of Malaysian Chinese food at reasonable price.

Had fish head curry promo set for $59.90 (4 pax) that comes with homemade toufu and vegetable, we also added half roast chicken for $1. The food were great and quantity is sufficient for family of 2 adult and 4 kids. Definitely recommend, great taste and value for money.

Nice white curry Laksa. We have Singapore hokkien mei and the Laksa, they are quiet similar.

Tried their curry fish head noodles and kuey chap. Pretty good! An extensive menu! Look forward to try more of their Malaysian cuisines!

Food was nice but not great, quite average. The service was very poor, however it was fast. Were good for substituting items out for allergies though.
Often there’s a long wait time to get in, they’ve got a wait list on the door.
Order by scanning a QR code then paying at the counter after eating.

As a south-east Asian, three stars shortage because of:

First star - stereotype issue. I understand the business is using the app to place an order which is understandable, but this act should be applying to all patrons. As I spotted two elderly patrons entering the store, the staff simply handed them the paper menu to place an order without even suggesting they use the app. However telling us to utilise the app by ourself.

Second star - Public Holidays and ETPOS machine surcharge. Without more clarification or an upfront warning of the surcharge, they will only reveal the total amount of food that the customers have ordered. *Hidden fees*

Third star - Foods are considered okay to most patrons, just the fact that the price is way too different when we try to order through online delivery (HungryPanda). It cost $16.50 of Hainanese Chicken rice in store, but $23.50 (excluding delivery) on Hungry Panda. Way too costly.

This place is always busy during peak times so we went just before lunch and got seated straight away. Service was friendly, food came out fast. Had ho fun noodles, beef rendang and chicken satay skewers. Loved everything. Standard pricing and not expensive. Will be coming back to try other dishes.

New place serving Malaysian food. It has a nice modern interior and its always packed out. Many items get sold out quickly too. Hainanese chicken rice is the best thing on the menu. Very flavoursome and tender chicken, rice a little mushy though. No ginger sauce unfortunately. Curry laksa is also quite tasty, loved the broth, can get quite spicy. Lobak was a good side to share. Asam laksa tastes good. Wantan mee noodles were nice but the Wantan was bit tasteless and the char siew looks weird. Chee cheong fan was soft and tender, the curry sauce a little diluted. Sweet sauce was quite thick. Curry fish was pretty good. Fried rice was really not to my liking at all. Char kuey teow didn't have much wok hei flavour. Overall it has quite a variety of items to choose from.

We went there for dinner on a Saturday night. It is a little Malaysian restaurant with good food. They don't have free table water but they have some drinks on their menu. I think they have physical menu but they prefer us to order food by scanning the code on the table. It is easy to order on the phone, and you can see some of the dishes are out of order.

We ordered 4 dishes and some steamed rice. The satay tofu and the seafood stir fried rice noodles (forgot what the original name was) are nice. My friend ordered a cup of watermelon juice, but I can see almost 50% in the cup are ice.

The price is reasonable, and the atmosphere is nice. The customer service can be a bit better though.

The best Malaysian food in SA. Also great service. It’s quite acceptable to wait a bit longer for a seat. Friends love it

Lunch at @otown_sa in Chinatown a few weeks ago: it's always good to have another option for Malaysian food in Adelaide. Some dishes were good but some dishes need some improvement. Service is no frills but efficient - typical Asian restaurant style. We would return to try some other dishes in the future.
.
Char Kueh Kak: this was our favourite dish from the meal. Lots of wok hei. Good flavours!
.
Penang Char Kuey Teow: this was a bit disappointing unfortunately. The style of the kuey teow is the wide flat type, which is not typical of the Penang style. The flavours were decent though.
.
Penang Loh Bak: this dish would be better if it was served with a sauce, like they do in Penang. Without the sauce, it was a bit on the dry side unfortunately.

It’s a new Malaysian cafe in Chinatown to which their dishes are a little different to Pappa Rich - more of the hawker style type of food. Except for the Chee cheong fun with the “har gow” prawn sauce, the other dishes we tried were average. The worst was the so called KL Hokkien Mee - the sauce was thin but super salty that after a few mouth full - I had to abandon that plate of noodles altogether. To those from KL that are used to having Hokkien Mee in KL, try at your own risk. The roti canai is much better at Jom Makan Makan, Pappa Rich and Vino’s IMO. 2 stars because of their efficient ordering system as the place was busy.

What kind of restaurant NOT giving water?
Also NO toilet for customers.

We ordered Laksa and Pork Wonton noodle.
The Laksa is very very oily.
We didnt enjoy it.
And the pork wonton noodle just had few slices of little pork on top + 3 wontons.

2 stars for "Food is not bad"

Service is not the friendliest as well.
But come on,
The foods ain't that cheap either.

Lots of downside for a restaurant,
And I hope they will improve themselves and realised the importance of water.

New malaysian restaurant in the heart of Chinatown. The chicken rice was bland and the hokkien noodles did not have much meat. Service was average.
