Prompt service and a nice friendly driver who didn't mind have a couple of 6 day hikers in his car.

Called to ask if they could do a airport run at 3am from Victor Harbor, was told boss out, will get him to ring you, NOTHING. Rang next day still the same reply. If you don't want the work just say so.

Don't call Orcas taxi if you have a disability. The lady that runs the place is rude, dismissive and can't do her job properly

I called months ago trying to set up my NDIS account with them she said I could not do it. That my support coordinator would have to do it.

My plan is self managed so actually I am supposed to be able to set my account up with places

Then I got my support coordinator to set it up a few weeks ago she messaged and said allgood I can call orcas whenever I need.

I didn't want to I was upset still that the lady refused to let me set up the account myself

Anyway today I decide I want tp go somewhere, I needed to use orcas because des is out on a city job. And she proceeds to tell my my account doesn't exist and it never got set up. Sprouting "I'm the owner blah blah" I don't give a hell who you are I have a social disability and you're telling me off for being confused and sad that my account that should be there is somehow not. Do your job properly lady I am sick of people like you who think it's ok to talk to me the way they do. You don't have any right to deliberately try and upset my by using a nasty tone of voice and being dismissive of me.

The driver took the longest route possible. It usually only costs me just over $11. This last time was nearly $15. Very disappointed.

From dispatch to drivers, there's an excellent team at orcas taxis. If they can't get you there now, they'll get you there as soon as they can!

After ordering a taxi on Thursday for 5.45 Friday night 31st March and waiting until 5.50 and no taxi, so phoned and got told didn’t know there was a booking? Had to rely on friends to take us to a celebration. Not impressed with this company. Never use again

Good service, friendly driver and they didn’t take heaps of random roads. I would use this service again, if I require a taxi

Today I had one of your taxi drivers flip me off for being in the way, after I kindly moved out of the way whilst they had a passenger in the car. Very unimpressed by this completely unprofessional service. Would give zero stars if I could.

We had two very different experiences using this taxi service recently. One was on the way to a birthday and the other was on the way back.
Whilst both were prompt and efficient the first driver was clearly unhappy and quite rude. Obviously didn’t want to be working that day, any attempts at being friendly were met with very curt cold responses, we got the message to shut up and say nothing. This was the exact opposite of our experience on the way back. We had a very friendly, American driver who really compensated for the first experience.

Very poor customer service. My 88 yo mother booked a pickup from the Woolworths shopping centre weekday afternoon. The assigned driver didn’t show. Another driver from Orcas refused (3 times) to take her fare because the job had been assigned to the other driver. After waiting an hour, Mum ended up walking home in the rain. She phoned the company next day. They said they’d investigate and let her know the outcome. One week later, no-one from the company has contacted her. This is sub-standard customer service at all levels of the organisation

The owner came to a party in Middleton on a late Saturday night, and the bloke that rang wasn’t there anymore. The owner offered to give me and my mates a free ride back into port elliot and then come back and pick up the rest of us free of charge. Absolute legend 10/10

While it was a busy long weekend in Victor, this taxi service was a disappointment. Running over an hr late, were told to maybe hitch-hike. When needing them for our trip home, he was rude and couldn't care less that we were stranded in a nearby town. If you can't pick someone up, be honest, don't keep saying your next in line for over an hr.

Once again my call for a quick pick up from orcas taxi services is met with true trusting professionals. The service feels personally home grown and the operators Vic and Wayne most definitely conduct a service beyond compare.
Their drivers are always on time, show utmost courtesy, will handle any baggage (and that's before the Meter ticks). All of orcas drivers are responsible, respectful and a definite credit to the orcas family -. There is no comparison in the service this company provides - orcas taxi is n will always be my first call - if by chance I can't use orcas - I'd rather walk. Keep going guys! And thankyou.

Very reliable, friendly staff, very knowledgeable family run business.they saved me when des's let me down and stranded

This is a locally owned company with local drivers. The owners deserve support as they are trying to keep a local company operating for the locals not an operator 500 miles away.
The drivers are local and have a sincere interest in doing their best for their community. Its hard to get good reliable drivers so please help us help you. Lets look after each other and stay community focussed. Cheers ben. U know.

This is my first review which I have decided to write as a result of great service we received from this taxi company. We went to Carickalinga for a day trip and by accident locked our car key in the boot. No locksmith was willing to help so we decided to go back to Adelaide by Taxi. We called Orcas Taxis and spoke to Vicky who first of all was very sympathetic by understanding our situation She sent us a cab from Victor Harbour
Which got us to Adelaide
The service was very professional.
