Staff are excellent and helpful throughout the choosing of your glasses. They also ensure a good price for them also (they check different selections for the best price also).

Excellent staff, excellent service, OPSM at the Golden Grove Village is my go to shop for Specs and eye tests.

Great optometrist as well as supporting staff at the store. I booked in appointment in the store and there was no waiting on the appointment day unlike other big stores. They accept RAA member card which help me save on glasses as well.

My experience was first class, an excellent inspection of my eyes gave me a full understanding of some eye problems I have and steps to take to overcome them.

My recent experience with Debbie at the Golden Grove store was exceptional. She went out of her way to assist me and provided an amazing customer experience. I will be recommending family and friends here.

I was seen by Thawab Al Banyati. Thawab was very professional and also very helpful and friendly. She explained everything clearly so I could understand what she was doing and what the suggested solution/treatment is.

Im very happy with OPSM's Eye test. Not rushed thru, like others that I've gone to, only to find the glasses were not suitable.

From walking into the store was greeted by Debbie in a professional manner even though she was with another customer she acknowledged i was there. After seeing Leon the optometrist, Debbie sat down with me and went through everything to make sure I got what i needed. Then the experience from Leon the optometrist, even though he was having trouble with the equipment he still went above and beyond to test my eyes and make sure he did what he could with the equipment he had. Funny guy actually a really comedic experience. Highly recommend this place and if Leon and Debbie are on they will make sure you get what you came there for.

Last Sunday I developed a severe eye infection which I was worried about so rang up OPSM Golden Grove and they were able to see me almost immediately. The service I received was fantastic - professional, understanding and friendly. Sophie the Optometrist was so lovely and even called twice in the days following to check things were improving. Almost sad that I've has laser vision correction as I'd love to support this business. Thanks again ladies, I appreciate your assistance:)

Very happy with my new glasses but my main reason for a 10 is the fact that with my eye health exam the optometrist found that my eye pressure is too high. After a trip to the specialist found that no treatment is needed yet. Due to my going to my eye health exam instead of ignoring it I now have had a problem found before it is damaging instead of after.

The negative first.

I went in for an eye test and was immediately told worse scenario that I have had a “Stroke of the eye” which could mean “Stroke of the brain”. I was told because I am a healthy 25 year old that works out through lifting weights and cardio that I need to reconsider working out if I value my life as this is what caused the “Stroke of the eye” aka bleed from the optic nerve. This caused some severe anxiety and mental stress on my life which quite frankly was appalling. I saw to medical advice and had tests carried out which all came back fine, thankfully. It was the way I was told about the bleed that lead to this, I was not given any alternative answers this was deemed as a “fair warning”.

The positive. I had to have a follow up appointment and this time with a different eye specialist at the same outlet. I began speaking with the specialist about my last visit and she calmed me down by explaining what can cause these types of bleeds and carried a more thorough investigation into it. End result is could have been strain from sneezing, lifting weights, using the bathroom etc. I was very thankful I was given the second specialist as it really helped with my mental state of mind. She redeemed this outlet for me.

Recently had an eye test and purchased 2 pairs of glasses, one for near vision and one for long distance. Very happy with the glasses and OPSM were happy to spread the cost over 2 financial years to make best use of my health insurance

Went into OPSM Golden Grove this afternoon to look for some glasses with my partner; the two employees that were there didn’t once look at us, acknowledge us or see if we needed assistance. They continued talking to each other loudly and made us wait for approximately ten minutes before we decided to leave.
Terrible first impression, pure lack of any kind of customer service.
Should have gone to Specsavers.

I found the optician and the staff were lovely when I went for my eye test and were so helpful when I selected my eye wear. But today, when I went to pick up my glasses the lady was so nasty. I appreciate that she was on her own but that can hardly be the fault of the clients who visit the store. Not once did she smile and to be honest I felt that I was a nuisance. I am a new customer of OPSM and truthfully am reconsidering a return visit

Absolutely TERRIBLE service at Golden Grove OPSM. I have never had glasses, and when I went to pick them up, the long distance vision was blurry. I was told that the glasses were for both long and short distances. The girl Lucy who attended me was extremely unhelpful and rude. I’m not sure if she just can’t help it or just took an immediate dislike to me on appearance, because we had never met before, but either way it was completely uncalled for.
She didn’t help me at all. Just said it was up to me what I wanted to do and sat there mute. Like she couldn’t care less. It was like pulling teeth. Then as she cleaned the glasses, I saw her roll her eyes at her colleague and mutter something. I let it go. She said I could have a refund.
I ended up returning the glasses and asked for the refund. I had a different attendant then who was friendly, and who then kept the glasses saying she would get back to me - but she didnt. I had to ring them, the friendly one was out and I was told she would call back - but she didn’t. I had to ring again and the rude girl answered - she was extremely rude and after I voiced my disappointment on their customer service, I couldn’t believe how sarcastic she spoke to me. I had to hang up on her. I couldn’t believe this. I have clients and I endeavor to always ensure they get the best customer service.
I will NEVER go there again and I will never recommend my clients go there either.

Wonderful staff. I have not been an OPSM customer. I wanted some new glasses and couldn't find them at my regular optical store. I visited the Golden Grove store to see if they had frames that might suit. The young guy at the store went out of his way to explain sizing and the range of glasses available. Sarah then did all the paperwork, measuring etc. I was so impressed that I decided that I would also get my annual eye examination there. Thawab was the young lady who did the eye examination. She was brilliant. Wonderful to get such good service from all involved. Thank you.
