Oliver’s Taranga Vineyards -Cellar Door and Winery

Without a doubt, one of the finest wineries in Australia. Not only do I recommend their wines for regular or special occasion drinking (they have a range suitable for all needs!) but the cellar door experience is unmatched in Australia. What a wonderful experience some close friends and I had on a visit where the staff treated us like family. We will be back!

The only winery in McLaren Vale that doesn't allow you to purchase a bottle of wine from there cellar door to drink with a platter of food. A Wednesday visit started of very disappointing by visiting this winery poor service but turned out being a beautiful day out by visiting Beach Rd Winery with outstanding service next door.

A gorgeous venue, exceptional selection of wines, outstanding hospitality and service by the staff at Oliver’s Taranga. Knowledgeable, friendly and a warm group of people. We will be returning often when we visit Mclaren Vale.

Have been to many wineries in this region, and by far this place surpasses in regards to service and quality of wine. Friendly and knowledgeable staff, as well as great wine. Can’t wait for our next visit. My favourite winery.

Oliver’s Taranga is one best wineries we have been to! Mark was so knowledgeable & had some great stories & wine wasn’t bad either! If you like a delicious red wine it’s a must visit winery!

We had a great tasting experience yesterday. Camilla was just delightful in enthusiastically sharing her knowledge of both the wines and history of the vineyard. Also very accommodating of peoples different tastes. The wines were great, as was the bread, olive oil & almonds. Highly recommend

We visited on a Saturday. There were several tables for wine tasting, but the service was amazing. Mark, who served us, was really great, answered all the questions we had, very informative. Definitely coming back with more friends.

Another exceptional wine tasting experience. Las looked after us very well and his wine knowledge was incredible We love the wines and The Banished fortified is a fine way to finish a delicious wine tasting journey. Thanks also to Mel.

What a fantastic winery Oliver’s is!
We went on the winery tour, and our guide Lee was fantastic. Such a great way to learn all about the history of the winery and about the wines themselves. We were beyond happy with our experience and would recommend it to anyone visiting the area.

Such a hidden gem in McLaren Vale! Spent the afternoon with some visiting family and we had a lovely time over a tasting. The place is beautiful and Mark took the best care of us. He was fantastic walking us through the lovely range of wines. We'll see you again soon. Thank you!

We are locals and every weekend try few wineries. My husband I both love Oliver's Taranga, fantastic atmosphere, beautiful wines, warm bread, yummy olive oil and local almonds were amazing. Gemma did our tasting - loved the stories, will definitely be back. Highly recommend it
