Old Bakery Stone Hut

Very abrupt customer service, no smile, no welcoming, long wait for egg/bacon rolls.
No breakfast styled pies or quiche - only cheese/bacon pies & I'm not a fan.

Wonderfully friendly staff, great service cosy atmosphere, and delicious food.

I tried their Chicken, Wine and Camembert Pie, and it's now my absolute favourite!

If you're visiting the area, the Old Bakery is a must.

ALWAYS LOVELY. We have been many times over the years it's a must for their pastries and cakes.
Also sell wine.and the kids enjoy talking to the birds and the patting zoo next door.

One of my most favourite places to be. This is the third time we have stayed in the cabins, previously we were welcomed with wine and chocolates (a welcome pack) this is no longer the case. Very disappointing, we always looked forward to the welcome pack, we felt special. Now it’s just an empty room.

Absolutely brilliant. Friendly staff who go out of their way to make you welcome. Awesome coffee & food. Totally recommend this bakery.

Friendly people, pays to stop and get delicious pies, pasties & pastries most of all the big breakfast was perfect?

We try and get there every once every weekend in a month and I can tell you it doesn't let us down with the food and the animals are great

Great tasting pies and really pleasant surroundings.
The lady who served me was very grumpy! Not friendly at all! She was probably having a bad day.

Didn't even know it was there until we went past it on the way to the Wirrabara markets, we decided to stop and try the bakery on our return. Pleasantly surprised that there was so much more at the same location. Wine tasting, aviary and petting zoo makes for a nice family day outing. By the way, the pies are some of the best I've had for some time, possibly in the top 5 in the state.

The worst coffee i have ever had, 2 sips and left the rest, watery garbage. The hag behind the counter is in real need of customer service training, rude and abrupt. Unfortunately her cohort in the kitchen is just as bad. I had to leave 1 star to be able to comment, certainly not worth 1 star. AVOID AT ALL COST to save on the dissapointment.

Pie was tasty but fell apart and soaked the pie bag and that ripped and went everywhere, missed out on 3/4 of my pie which ruined my day

Nice pies great range of flavours with some quiet unusual flavours, for my taste the pie was not hot enough and I hate to have them microwaved, very nice coffee and the lemon passionfruit cheese cake was very tasty pleasant atmosphere with the aviary and petting zoo. As a stop for a refuel food wise an excellent choice.

Always take a 4 hour detour when I'm in SA to go here. It's worth every second the drive is amazing the pies are amazing. Kangaroo and red wine 5 stars. Also I live the birds, but mostly because they are naughty and always bite my hubby.

Omg they weren’t joking when they say they have the best pies in the universe.
Packed full of meat and absolutely delicious.
Do yourself a favour and have their chocolate cake too.
A must stop if you are In the area.
And the ladies running it are super lovely. Big thumbs up.

A beautiful bakery with delicious pies and sweets, loved it. Checked out the birds and the animals, they looked well looked after, you all should visit the Stone Hut Bakery!

It is a beautiful place for stop over especially for birds lover and good to entertain the kids after a long drive. They also sell ice cream. Though the pies we ordered were dry and a bit overcooked.
