Officeworks Gawler Place

Price match Apple headphones here, the staff refused me perfunctorily on the first night, but the next day after my friend showed his price match record of successful purchase, the manager and staff helped me and successfully purchased it.

Lovely cashier Georgie helped me with a print that I accidentally sent to Melbourne, totally awesome to talk to and she helped me soooo much before I had to run off to work, total asset to the store:).

Michelle was very helpful in printing my invitations for my wedding. She was quick in sorting-out the sizes of the paper so that the quality of the colour is not compromised. She was about to finish her shift and Fynn finished the cutting. Thanks too Fynn. The invitations are amazing. Thank you Officeworks Gawler Staff.

Terrible customer service. Went into the Gawler Place store on 29/12/22, store was very quiet. I asked Fin at the printer counter if they could please print my 30 odd documents but they said “no, we don’t do that, you have to use the self service”.
I asked again, knowing they weren’t busy at all, but again Fin refused to help me.
I then went to the Keswick store, they happily printed my documents without batting an eyelid.
We later called Gawler Place store manager Chelse to give feedback, only to be told “sorry your experience didn’t meet your expectations”

Absolutely disgusting service! Was there on 2/01/23. The Manager on duty had a bad attitude. Was laughing when I left!
My issue. I had been to Apple Store around the corner to resolve my issue with new AirPods not working. They were purchased from Officeworks on 18/12/22. Apple spent 1.5 hours trying to fix my issue. Could not fix. Apple said just easy to go around the corner to Officeworks, where you purchased from with this report from us & let them know you would like a replacement. You would think that wasn't going to be a problem!
I had a report from Apple saying problem can't be fixed. Emailed this to the store too. Officeworks refused to give me a replacement pair of AirPods even though they were purchased from there 14 days prior and never worked!
Manager laughing as we left the store. This is illegal & against consumer law.
Went back to Apple. They were shocked. Apple replaced for me.

Had a great experience here. Was attended to by a member of staff named Harry, who went above and beyond to make sure our printing was right and we found everything we need. This was a very quick and easy process due to his help!

First time printing photos and wasn't sure how long it was meant to take so ended up waiting around 2 hours for photos to be printed. Apparently, it wasn't meant to take that long but the staff didn't apologise for the inconvenience so I'm not really impressed by the service. Photos are nice at least!

Best service from the store manager, somehow they gave me the wrong computer to the one I called up and put on hold, same brand and price but completely different type of PC. Anyway I unfortunately didn't notice until later that afternoon when I was home and the store was closed. Called up next morning to let them know and as I couldn't get there the manager actually drove the computer up to my house 30mins away himself. Thanks so much for the awesome service.

Here is some interesting information about their best price policy: an identical product must be listed with a model number on the website or catalogue where the price is being matched. They subscribe to a policy without explaining what 'identical' means. I thought identical meant the same but there are apparently specific details left out of their policy information. Furthermore, on Officeworks' own website, they don't list the requested information for identifying items in order to quantify the price matching information given on other suppliers catalogues.

Very poor customer service,
I showed them the sample of printer ink that I had purchased it from Officeworks in the past,
They did not even recognize the product.

They need alot more training before standing there as a worker.

It's a smaller store compared to other stores. But it has plenty of items for students as well as items for the home office, clubs & small business.

Just wanted to say a HUUUUGE shout out and thankyou to the legend at officeworks Linda.

She was super fast and friendly, arranging for my portraits of a local homeless man to be printed and laminated ASAP so I could suprise him at lunch.

Youre an absolute gun, I couldnt have done it without you.

Ok, but they don’t always have the same things as listed on the website. Asked if something was in stock and the assistant shook his head and walked off without offering an alternative. Didn’t even speak.

Good choices of electronics to stationary to miscellaneous items needed for offices and homes. Staff is always helpful and polite. They have printing station which are useful if you don’t have a printer home. Plus they can print pretty much any size you want.

Usually good service but today spent 15 minutes waiting for someone to help me which isn't easy with a 3 year old. Walked out when the assistant went to the tills instead of helping.
Unfortunately won't be back

Poor service. The staff member who served me did not bother to let me know what binding options they offer. I ended up paying for an ugly and disappointing end product thanks to her.

Avoid this business as there are always problems with services. Management seems to be on holiday. I have tried at various time with photo printing, only to have my photos mixed up with other customers also experiencing the same problems. Staff seem to be students on part time tenure and are clearly incapable of managing this store. Stay away.

Disappointed with service staff are rude and I think maybe invisible, won't use this shop again get your act together your staff are full of self importance.

Office works provides all the stationary and
electronics except for glue guns and glue gun glue.

This store is always well-staffed with helpful assistants. The store is always clean. They are really responsive to any wait times - so you're in and out with efficiency.
