Odeon Star Semaphore Cinemas reviews
73Lovely old fashioned cinema. But the sounds and the comfort levels are really good. But for $10 tickets, it's well worth it. Parking is on the road, but there are plenty of side roads with unrestricted parking nearby. Great for a family outing, taking in the sights and sounds of Semaphore at the same time.
Very polite staff, very clean cinemas, $10 tickets, family run and operated, will be returning!
I love the Odeon. Have always brought my children there now I go alone. I feel nostalgic when I go there
Gem of a cinema, absolutely stunning art Deco style. Unfortunately the seating isn't the best. Actual seats are reasonably comfortable in cinema 1, but leg room is horrible! Cinema 2 and 3 seats are really low to the ground, a bit strange. Pop corn was fresh and delicious.
Quaint little movie theatre. $10 movie tickets ️ has 3 cinemas ️ & candy bar with all the lollies you would need. Got asked how the movie was as they opened the door coming out. Very personable & supporting local businesses!
Coffee and snacks were great. My seat was so noisy when I moved that I couldn't so it did get uncomfortable.
First time here. My seat was extremely squeaky so I couldn't move around to get comfortable but we enjoyed the experience and the movie. My coffee was delicious!
Very cosy, old-style cinema with modern comforts and entertainment. Really good prices, although be aware there are limited screenings due to only having three rooms. Recently started offering alcoholic beverages as well as the standard candy bar fare. Seats recline slightly but are a bit cramped for tall people.
Beautiful little cinema. Reminded me of the cinemas shown in the good old movies of my childhood.
Great theatre and friendly people
Been like this for years now and still standards of cleanliness and service extremely good dont change
Great theatre. Really friendly helpful staff. I would highly recommend it's a really good south Australian business.
Great place for people who loves old cinema. Very clean and not crowded. It feels like we rented the entire cinema when we watch a movie at 17: 00 on weekdays.
We have to say a huge thank you to Paul. Nothing is too much trouble for him. We need to use the wheelchair access and he always helps us with a smile and a happy attitude.
The cinema is warm, comfortable and cheap. It's so cheap I don't understand why it's not packed every night. We go as often as we can and will continue to do so.
Thank you Odeon Star and Paul.
Took our 2 year old to see light year. Cinema was very clean the staff were really really nice.
Popcorn was delicious and the candy bar was good value. It your reading reviews to see if you should come here you definitely should.
Great value for money! Old school vibes. We really like it. The seats are not the best in comfort but still fine. I would definitely come back so many times.
First time to visit, enjoyed the retroness of it all. Tickets were only $10 so that was nice. Staff were friendly. Choc top was awesome!
The only bad thing was the leg room in the cinema (I went to Cinema 1). I'm a short arse and it was a bit uncomfortable, so not sure how a tall person would feel.
Always a great time out watching a movie at this Old Time Theatre. Friendly staff, comfy seating, great sound system to go with watching the movie. Recently saw the new Top Gun 'MAVERICK' here. Spend your money seeing at your local cinema, not at the other over priced ones as Event Cinemas or Reading Cinema.
Love this cinema and love the friendly staff that work there.
While the theatre is older and not as fancy as others the level of customer service is well above.
You won't need to mortgage your house just to go to the movie and candy bar.
I love this old cinema, still full of character, it feels a bit like stepping back in time to watch a movie. The only slight drawback is that the seating is not quite as plush as a modern metroplex.
