Absolutely love the chips with mushroom gravy, they do a awesome Chicken snitty and the service is always spot on, fantastic friendly staff.

The chicken snitzels are amazing! And the fish and chips are even better.perfectly flakey fish and juicy chicken

Good sized portions of food. Good sized chips. Service was quick and friendly. Prices were reasonable. Cafe has good sized indoor and outdoor dining areas. Good number of menu options: fish and chips, burgers, steak, chicken mignon, chicken or beef schnitzel, yiros, chicken nuggets etc. Has toilets in the premises.

Clean, plenty of room, lots of tables with chicken salt so you can help yourself. Friendly staff. Meals are ready very quickly. The batter is great, not to thick, nice and crispy. Chips are superb, not dripping with oil. Big choice, burgers, steak Santa's, all the goodies, a must to go for a quick tasty feed.

Waited an hour for food, all came out cold, squid was like eating an eraser leaving me feeling ill after the second mouthful and lacked the salt and pepper which was ordered. Steak was meant to be medium, came out well done and was inedible. Schnitzel was dry and overcooked.

This is excellent for staff friendliness, service, delicious food, amazing value for money. A definite stop for dine in or best value for takeaway. Always served with the freshest salads. A list of my favourite dishes.
Snitzel, (chicken and beef) Open Yiros, Seafood Platter, any fish dish, just to name a few, in fact anything on the menu. You can’t go wrong with this place, Dine in or out on a sunny day.

Ordered the $11 schnitzel, chips, salad and gravy pack for wife which they advertise both in facebook and on their wall only to find out after leaving and opening the pack that it didn't come with the salad. I had barramundi and chips. It was okay, wife liked it but I didn't like the schnitzel crumb and it was a bit chewy and oily. Gravy was delicious and barramundi was tasty. Chips pretty good. Friendly and polite service. Reasonably priced. Would go again.

Unfortunately we didnt have a great experience here. We bought a take away order for 5 that was completely messed up, only realizing as we arrived home anand opened it all up. Unfortunately we were not given a receipt (we were assured they would just remember our order instead of giving us a receipt) so to go back to follow it all up seemed a bit pointless. The food we did eat was yummy, even though it was different to what we ordered. It was also a somewhat busy night, so maybe that was why.

Great food, served in a timely fashion at great prices.what more could you ask for! A bit of a hidden gem in the “backstreets” of Victor/Hayborough!

The take away fish and chips from Ocean Crest Cafe was a really pleasant surprise. The external restaurant appearance doesn't promise much but the fish was very fresh and flavourful, the batter was light and easy on the oil and the chips were magnificent. The price was excellent (particularly given the high quality food) and the service was great. Highly recommended!
