There are not to many of these old cinemas still in existence and operating, however the restorations and recently completed modern entry look great. It's a little old school charm theatre with a tasteful modern twist.

We take our family to the cinemas regularly; good price on tickets, average array of snacks at regular cinema prices, neat and tidy cinema with comfortable seats.

Does it compare to the gold class style comfort? No, but this cinema is a lovely place to spend time alone, with friends or with your kids.

The best country town cinema I've ever been to.

This cinema is awesome.they sell hot drinks like cuppacinos lattes and hot chocolates aswell as snowtops.lollies and chips in the kiosk. Nice big cinemas, clean and tidy and the seats have drink holders too.had a great time.thankyou

Nice staff, good movies, and audio

The worst thing is the seating, it's so uncomfortable as it is only good for an hour, and then you're constantly moving about all the time.

Great cinema friendly staff when I went to see the little mermaid cheap but fair prices just the candy bar just a tad steep on price but that’s cinemas for ya

Quaint little cinema in Mt Gambier. All the usual suspects available at the counter to eat and drink. Friendly service.

The seats are a bit tight fitting for someone of my size. The seats are also incredibly stuff with little leg room. It can get pretty uncomfortable after 2+ hours of watching a movie, and that's a pretty standard length for a movie these days. Snacks and drinks are kinda pricey but that's standard in the industry. It's hard to beat a big box of fresh popcorn though.

Cinema 3, great little theatre, very comfortable and heated well on a very cold day outside. Recommended

The popcorn itself is worth the 5 stars!
But it's also very well kept and clean.
Always an enjoyable experience.

A 3 cinema - old school movie theatre

We were on vacation from Adelaide & stumbled across this by place by mistake, while we were searching for the local Woolies.

We booked our tickets online, selecting our seats, and payment was super easy to do, IMO a much nicer check out experience than Hoyts!

Also, a bonus… we didn’t realise Tuesday was $10 movie tickets score?

This place had a nice retro feel, with simple decor, but it was clean & tidy, great customer service too.

Also, I did read a few other reviews who were complaining about parking…? ,

We had no issues whatsoever! There was a rear carpark, and plenty of street parking.which were only a few steps from the main entrance - compare this to Adelaide it was a breeze! Parking was also free too!

It was a great initiative set up by the Arthritis Foundation. The activities and movie Paw Patrol was wonderful.

Lovely cinema. Comfy chairs. Get out to your local cinema and support them. Nothing better than a big screen.

Parking is far too limited. Always having to queue up outside the building to get into the cinema even after the session time has began.

Great cinema (3) with current movies on offer. Saw Dreamhorse which was very enjoyable. Previously saw Penguin Bloom, also a great show. Reasonable prices.

Staff efficient, quick service and friendly. New upgrades look faboulous. Watching a good movie on a big screen at this cinema beats netflix hands down. Its a great feeling to support our locals. Look forward to watching more new released movies?

Great venue for movies. Parking & food outlets nearby so we can make it a day out. Clean, well laid out establishment with easy to use QR codes.

Love coming here with my partner and children, I always get a little cold tho so i always bring an extra sweater or a small lap blanket.
The staff are all really nice and the popcorn is always fresh and delicious
