The staff are great and kind, and have been taking beautiful care of my grandma. She tells me how the staff listen to her stories and comfort her.

My mother in law was a resident there, and she was very happy and the staff were very caring and looked after her well. There were activities which kept her busy and entertained.

I wouldn't put my dying dog in this place, the staff lie and some do abuse the elderly, we have taken legal action against this place

Have worked at this facility for 4 years, have been in aged for for 25 ave worked in many facilities. This is by far one of the nicest most welcoming facilities I have been in. It's a pleasure and honour to work with a great team and family.

My mum has been a resident of Oakden Green for nearly 3years. Ok, there is no place like home, but that’s not always an option when we can’t look after ourselves. We visit my mum DAILY. We have never seen any mistreatments or abuse. There is always competent staff around who are friendly and caring. Only on weekends it seems to run on skeleton staff.
I don’t want to single out any staff but some go out of their way to entertain and attend to residents needs. Most staff have been there from day one which is important for residents who become accustomed to them.
Effort goes into fundraising for special treats for residents such as trips to the Royal Show, rides along the beach etc.if we have a concern we take it up with management, who always act on it or we can bring our concerns to the regular meetings that we are encouraged to attend.

My mother has been here for 4 years and is very happy. The staff are caring and genuine when they take care of my mum. I can see they take their time to talk to her and she loves it when she has their little chats with them. The rooms are nice and comfortable and the variety of food is lovely too. Though my mum has special dietary requirements due to her health, they are able to accomodate this.

This Nursing has a really good staff and nurses, i cannot lie.the only issues that we had putting our dear one in this place was the lifestyle not doing activities with s/he. Julie is the lifestyle and the admin.whenever i would go there, she would act busy and talk loud with one of the short lady name Roma and also the site manager (Delores). These people i can state that they are not professional in their job.its not the first or second finding Julie (lifestyle) and Roma outside talking.what is really fun is whenever they would see someone coming in or going out of the facility they would act serious like they are talking working related. I seriously do not know why they hired Julie- the lifestyle.i personally adouts she do any work at all.she is always walking around and talking to people and laughing so loud.there was a day where other residents was complaining in the dinning area when Julie was laughing so loud and that day she was coming out of the kitchen.i really feel sorry for the staff who work so hard to be putting up with such a person. The owner of this nursing home should do something otherwise, i am going to move my dear one.its disgusting really.i mean being at work Monday till Friday and you are being paid for doing nothing.i personally dont think that she deserve to be a lifestyle.and i would advice the admin and the site manager to be professional in their job.i really feel sorry for the resident who are in this place and they dont do any activities accept watching movies only.
