Nuri Indian Takeaway reviews
28Beautiful people, beautiful atmosphere and delicious food and coffee! Thank you for your great service, and I am so glad you survived Covid!
Delicious, every single curry. The garlic naan, as others say, is perfect. Highly recommend!
Ordered here on Anzac Day and must say I was impressed with the chips and the Chiko rolls, but myself I enjoyed the butter chicken. It comes with a serving of rice and the butter chicken itself has a strong flavour, more so than I am used to. But overall my family was happy and enjoyed the food.
Good honest food. Fish had beautiful crunchy batter, not greasy and chips where great! And the young man behind the counter was so nice.
Just tried for the 1st time, definitely be back, very nice, samosas very nice and the butter chicken and beef vindaloo very nice, naans nice too
Very poor value for money and a disappointing meal!
Dropped in at 4.45pm to get some Friday afternoon take away. Ordered 4 containers - only one size available- the small round take away containers which cost $13.90 each of pre served curries -and 6 cheese naan breads (which cost $6.90 each) which all up cost $89. Was told it would take 10 to 15 minutes, but I ended up waiting half an hour.
Was extremely disappointed when we finally got to eat it. We would have been lucky to have 6 cubes of meat in each curry dish - it was mainly just sauce. The cheese naan bread was ridiculously over cheesed - covered in melted cheese so you couldn’t even taste the naan.
A lot of money for a poor quality meal.
Friendly service
Price, is ok for the quality you get.
Curry’s that i purchased were almost average.
Nothing authentic about it.
Curry’s didn’t have a kick or wow factor to it.
Seemed like coles nan breat put on a hot plate.
Wouldn’t recommend it.
Love the price tho
This takeaway is convenient, most curries are already made & you can drop by & grab dinner super fast. The naan is to die for & you will definitely want more than one. This is a must try for a quick, delicious takeaway. They also offer curries & naans frozen to take home & cook at your leisure.
Compared to other Indian restaurants in the Barossa and surrounding this one absolutely tops everything! Their food is always incredible, full of flavour and so affordable, you get your moneys worth! Naans are always crispy and the raita is so refreshing! The perfect accompaniment. Plus we are always greeted with big smiles from the owners and staff, I would recommend this place to anyone and everyone!
Easy to get to.and absolutely delicious curry. Will definitely eat the lovely take aways again.
The best food for the price and it was not over cooked and not too over flavoured either, one of the best places to get for in the whole of the valley will come again.
Greatest India on the planet, only take away which was a down full, a little slow on the service but overall great food
Do not pick up the phone often or impossible to understand.
Food is nice and good quality/price
If you want Indian and you are in Nuriootpa, I recommend
Nice food, but pricey. Very disorganised, I phoned in an order and went half an hour later as they asked. When I arrived I waited a further hour after they messed up my order. I was told sorry but they are busy. Phone went unanswered as they were obviously under staffed and disorganised.
Terrible Naan bread. Curries were overly sweetened. Very small serves and quite expensive. Definitely not worth it.
First visit, staff really polite and helpful. Butter chicken really nice, just a few more pieces of chicken would make it perfect. Garlic Naan delicious.
Beautiful.
A shame tho the only beef was vindaloo.
Was super nice but bloody hot as hell.
Very nice food. Very quick service. Made fresh dayly. Worth the trip.best I've found this side of Adelaide
Foods nice but service not so nice. Was told a 4min wait and ended up waiting over 20 minutes when was in a rush. Need to work on speed especially as it's a takeaway shop.
