Nullarbor National Park reviews
36Beautiful views from the lookouts. But they could maintain the roads to the lookouts better, massive potholes almost impossible to pass with a caravan.
Wow, what a place to visit. Alot of areas being posted off and no access. Shame, it's an awesome spot. Clean no rubbish and easy access tracks (of the ones that were open) really good quiet atmosphere of other campers and visitors jist enjoying the scenery. Great place for a night camp.
This is such a great natural landscape. We saw whales and calves which was amazing but a friend who went after us saw seals playing as well! Well worth a visit!
Very interesting scenery. Amazed it has so much scrub. Spectacular views on top of cliffs.
Nice views but not to stay. Very windy. Felt like the van was going to blow over the cliff. And we weren't any where near the cliff.
Must see beautiful views of the great Australian bite.
Must be careful of the cliff's. One minute you are driving and then it's just a straight down cliff face (careful in some areas)
Love this place camped on the cliff tops one night spectacular views and good sunset, sunrise too.
Camping on the cliffs is a must do, most magical experience ever. Just be sure to be respectful and not litter, unfortunately I encountered a bit of it.
If you like open scenic views, they don't come better.
The worst & best of nature, combined.
Stunning views of the Great Australian Bight.
Some free camp sites not respected by visitors who leave their rubbish & toilet paper everywhere. Please people take your rubbish with you.
Beautiful place to camp. No amentities. Must be self sufficient. Take away your own rubbish please.
This is the place I'll visit again the nullarbor road house is the best great friendly staff that stand out overall the places I've pulled up at
Fantastic national Park. This National Park is a must see. No trees for large areas and amazing Cliffs.
Nullarbor National Park is a protected area in the Australian state of South Australia located in the locality of Nullarbor about 887 kilometres (551 mi) west of the state capital of Adelaide and about 400 kilometres (250 mi) west of Ceduna.
Founded in 1979, its extent was reduced in 2013 from 5,781.27 square kilometres (2,232.16 square miles) to 323.10 square kilometres (124.75 square miles) by the proclamation of the Nullarbor Wilderness Protection Area. As of 2013, it is bounded to the west by the Western Australia - South Australian state border, the north by the Nullarbor Regional Reserve and to the east and the south by the Nullarbor Wilderness Protection Area.
It is classified as an IUCN Category VI protected area. In 1980, it was listed on the now-defunct Register of the National Estate.
Very interesting place, sadly weather was awful, high winds, overcast and a million flies to top it off! Pity as the day before was sunny and hardly any wind!
Beautiful views, you'll find piles of rocks at random stop areas, place a rock or pebble on it and make a wish. The sea breeze is refreshing, and you might be able to see whales depending what time of year you travel over.
Not many stops on the way, so make sure you have refreshments.
Very very beautiful, very very windy as we expected, very dangerous near edges (We saw some edges crumble and fall). Please use caution and KEEP IT CLEAN.
Stunningly beautiful, although we had a dull day and realist this trip. Well worth stopping off to check out the beauty of the Great Australian Bight.
If you are set up to free camp this amazing coast offers lots of opportunity for fantastic views. Weather conditions can be harsh in hot weather and winter storms.
Of course the road across the Nullarbor is one of the iconic road trips of Australia. Surprisingly large number of rest-stop, accommodation and service station options. Some camping off the highway available on the WA side, if camping will need to bring own everything. Best driven during daylight, road trains and critters on the road at night.
