NRMA Victor Harbor Beachfront Holiday Park reviews
73 Had high expectations for this place, but was disappointed. Seaview cabin, so their top priced accommodation, in peak season. Cabin not cleaned properly - dirt, sand and dust under couch; dirt and pill (medication) under couch cushion. Bathroom and wardrobe doors don't close properly. Visitors walk across the front and sides of your cabin and look straight in. You can also hear every word of their conversations, the cabins are that close to each other, meaning no privacy. Cars cannot be parked beside your cabin; they are not even within view. Can only see the tv properly in the master bedroom from one side of the bed. 1 ply toilet paper given, and not enough for a 4 night stay. Internet didn't work; unsure if we were given the wrong password (tried numerous times) or if the signal can't reach this far. Spare blanket smelt like someone had urinated on it. Nowhere to hang wet clothing and towels. A clothes line across the balcony or bathroom, or a clothes horse supplied would have made a huge difference. Pool is like a backyard pool and always busy. No bins provided for paper, cardboard, plastic containers, and glass (glass jars) recycling. One positive is that it is a reasonable walking distance into town.
Wouldn't stay here again.
Kathy on the phone was the most wonderful person ever. She even called us back and helped us get a longer stay. We are still hoping we will not have to move on Boxing Day. This park is lovely and well kept. Perfect location and just a small walk into town. Has a pool and lots of kid things to do. Definitely would stay here again
Great park in best location in Victor Harbour. Friendly and helpful staff, with very well maintained facilities. Loved our stay here and will definitely return.
Absolutely fabulous! Studio room was immaculate and great value for mid week special. Will be back. Thanks for a great stay
We arrived here on Wednesday last week, we have had a terrible stay due to the birds right above us in the trees, absolute mess everywhere we can't even sit outdoors sometimes, banging goes on from dawn till dusk most days, hundreds of parrots, my husband and l are pretty upset and sad, and will be moving on earlier.
Excellent caravan park with many different types of accommodation including cabins and glamping safari tents. Ideal place to stay with children.
Took my son away for a long weekend camping experience. The powered site was a great size and in a super great location to the back walkway and other facilities.
The facilities are super clean and in great condition and there is plenty for the kids to do.
It's a really easy walk to the main town with a couple of playgrounds along the way to break up the walk for smaller kids.
At night they had security around just making sure everything was AOK which is a nice touch too.
100% will be returning for another trip or 2 in the future
The check-in process was quick the staff are friendly and helpful the park was clean with lots of room and activities for kids of all ages
NRMA Victor Harbour Caravan Park didn't disappoint, The boys enjoyed the pump track, Jumping pillow but didn't get to use the water slide or pool as it was too cold. We stayed in the Glamping tents and they are brilliant.
Clean with good facilities and friendly staff. Short walking distance to pubs, Granite island and beaches.
It used to be a nice quiet park, but management seems to have developed an addiction to noisy machinery. Every day it's something different. Today, two guys spent all morning blowing leaves about with the noisiest leaf blowers you can imagine. And in the afternoon they brought in a huge street sweeper to clean the gutters which had already been blown out in the morning. You have to wonder don't you? Is the place run by the government? It's obviously someone with no capacity for rational thought. I mean, who cares about a few leaves anyway? It's noise that spoils your enjoyment. They drive people away and then spend money on advertising to bring them, back again. Crazy. Shame because it's a nice park otherwise.
We stayed here a week ago in our RV. I will definitely be going back again. Bathroom's were clean and modern. Park employees we friendly and helpful. Short walk to the beach and it has a walkway close that you can walk into the town of Victor. We had a very pleasant stay at this park and it is one of my faves now.
Most beautiful scenery you cAn ever see.so many beautiful colours. Clear sea and waves. Good place for photography couldn’t take my eyes off from this piece of art by mother nature enjoyed the beauty with some ice-cream
Nice place to stay, clean facilities, lovely staff. Don't like the showers, very hard to regulate temperature, they run hot or freezing, off and on, making you waste alot of water to have a quick shower. No shuttle service into town, and 10 minute walk to town can take up to 30min if you are older or unfit.
Not exactly beach side as you need to cut through undergrowth to get to the beach so be wary of snakes.
Huge comfortable double king bed in a good sized studio with ensuite and on site parking at a very resonable price.
Nice place to stay, safari tents are brilliant. Except the ppl in tent 5 no respect for neighbours, foul mouthed did not get any sleep because, they were yelling talking till 3 -4 in morning. Will come back to again.
What a beautiful park with ocean views the park was booked out due to a concert, which we attended. Check in was so well organised we arrived on Friday so easy and trouble free well done to the owners, one minor Hick up with our site but sorted immediately. Would definately recommend a stay in this beautiful spot will be back
Power blackouts put a damper on things.
Wifi not working and no sink in our unit.
Exhaust fan in bathroom needs a good clean.
Studio unit was comfortable and good facilities around the park.
We tried booking for 2 nights but was told it was a 3 night minimum stay and we were able to stay 1 night but not 2, one lady said we could stay two nights and the other lady stopped her and said it's a 3 night minimum stay. Spoke to a few local shop owners and they mentioned it's a big money grab.
Great park very poorly run.
Putrid filthy toilet, attended to every couple of days, very unhygienic. Grass is growing out off control on caravan sites and general ground keeping needs attention.
