Avoid if your kid is not 5 and above. We've been over a year, class size may be smal (4 to a class) but recently I noticed how majority of their instructors are young people just out of high school with little to no experience in managing younger kids. I am sure the instructors are all highly qualified swimmers, but they lack the early learning teaching experience. This school does not understand the importance of routine for toddlers/preschoolers. Your Permanent instructor will change without any notice to you and they tell you they will never inform you of instructor changes. This is especially disruptive to younger kids who thrive on routine, so be prepared for meltdowns at the pool if your kid learns best only with routine and consistency.

It's an almost deal breaker. We have been sending our kids there and will continue to do so, because we haven't yet shopped around and it's convenient enough to stay. But this year, they introduced a fancy new app. The app is okay, but, you cannot unselect the tickbox which forces you to sign-up to recurring payments. This never used to be the case. You used to be able to pay month by month in advance without having to go into the swimming centre. Now you can't, not withing recurring billing. I don't seen any need to subscribe. It's expensive enough that you don't want to inadvertently make one or more extra monthly payments of > $100 for your kids if your situation changes and you decide to stop going. They have moved to the financial model of recurring billing to trap the busy mums and dads. No longer can I make a convenient 20 second online payment each month, I must drive down to the centre to make the payment. That's fine if you go there anyway, but I'm not always the person that takes our kids swimming. So I find myself now making special trips just to make the payment, so that I don't have to send money with the carer that takes our kids. I've voiced my complaint, and it was well received. But they have not removed the compulsory checkbox so payments must be made on premises. There's no need for them to hide behind "it's just what our app allows", because it's clear that they could just elect to allow their customers to untick that box. It's actually a decision by their management which they are standing firm on wanting to make sure that you keep paying. The new app does not seem to allow sharing full 'admin rights' to reschedule appointments to kids, so I find myself having to login to my wifes account to reschedule my kids lessons. (Or if it is possible, it is not at all intuitive how to do so). Prior to having to pretend to be my wife, and prior to forcefully pushing people onto recurring billing, 5-stars. -3 stars for the recurring billing.

We have been bringing two of our children here for several years, and couldn’t ask for more. Small class sizes, excellent instructors, and the kids’ skills are developing steadily. Our five year old can now easily swim a full 25M lap of freestyle and backstroke; his water skills and confidence are very reassuring to us as parents!

The icing on the cake is a free crèche that overlooks the main pool area, run weekdays from 9-12, and a small indoor playground and cafe area. Honestly before my eldest started school this place was our Monday morning destination for at least 2 hours!

They have decreased the days for swimming for intermediates and increased the price to $91. They are so costly. There is this Assistant manager with short hair name I guess Andreya, many people stopped coming because of her and I too stoped. I dont give reviews but here I truely felt like leaving review. She is raciest and if you book more than 1 day in week she will make you feel like you are not supposed to and she is doing some kind of favour. She keeps saying people want to come for multiple days, we are being good by offering extra days and things like that. Dear Andrea please check other swimming pools and their services before behaving like this. For $91 if you only allow 1 day in a week why would any one come to your place? And if swimming owner offering multiple days for intermediates and there are lanes available, why do you show it as a favour? Anyways other people are good other instructors are good and they too said things about her but no one wish to come forward. Rest I will leave up to owner to decide!

Great indoor pool for kids in eastern suburbs. The admin staff is friendly and always happy to change the schedule as per your convenience.

Extremely busy hard to park at peak times, staff very friendly but must be hard trying to teach so many children when it's so loud in there.

Very good location to bring the young children to teach them to swim. Friendly and good instructors.
Shop with Coffee, cake etc as well as a small playground
Well set up.

Staff here are great. Has been great to watch my children learn so much in 3 summers here and look forward to more in the future.

Really enjoyable aquarobics class with lovely people. Not enough change rooms for numbers, though.

Our daughter is 6 years old and has been now for 3 lessons. Good size (small group) classes and the instructors make the kids feel secure and happy to learn swimming.

Norwood Swim School is on Kensington Rd with plenty of offstreet parking. Friendly experinced r there to help especially in the shop. As part of the centre, psychologists r in the building next door. It is long established.

Always excellent friendly service. Kerry is usually in attendance when I attend Aqua classes at 8 am Tuesday and Thursday every week. Mary Cousin

Very good place to learn swimming. If your child perform good they are not hold in same level for long time like other places. They will put your child to next level as soon as your child perform in the relevant level.
