Norwood Foodland reviews
67Would not shop anywhere else! Fresh fruit & veg, great gourmet & cheese selection, great prices and the best staff!
Great product range with plenty of SA producers. Good for dietary limitations. Veggies seem freshand good quality. Always busy.
A most favourable experience. Isle accessible goods, of varying quantity & quality. Busy, but pleasant staff more than a happy to assist. Though I arrived on foot there, I'm advised of available parking both uncovered & covered. The later option useful to defend oneself & vehicle from orbital bombardments, pending the research & development & cost efficiency of 'force fields', assuming mass production. Mayhaps in time Foodland will sell them.
I applied for this place when i was in year 9 (2020). No response.i applied again january this year after hearing that it was hiring.yet no response.even specified that i have experience in cashiering.every time i visit the store im starting to notice that there is absolutely no diversity in the staff.see a pattern? U guys are not "picky" i think the hiring team are just flat out racist.
This is a large Foodland. I will stop in here occasionally if I'm in the area and have the time. Have a lot of items not stocked by Woolworths or Coles. Had a bit of an explore today and found my usual chocolate on a really good special, and also found in the bakery fridge single serve St George cheesecakes - not too high in carbs, as I have diabetes. Delicious! Will visit here again when I can.
Great for fresh fruit and veg with a superlative deli counter and an excellent range of cheeses.
Wide variety of fresh food and healthy options as well as hard to get things. Nice place to shop.
Busy but deli service was prompt enough; shelves well stocked with items. I hate the deli plastic take out containers which really hurt fingertips, break nails, difficult with arthritis to open by breaking the plastic tab. Staff friendly. Bulk snacks bins offer variety although some high prices
I will go out of my way just to get the salads from the deli each day, and have for the last 6 years! Great value and variety for lunch.
Quite a large very well stocked shop that has an amazing fruit and veg section, a brilliant selection in their meat deli as well as hot food ready to go, the store itself is very well laid out and the bakery section has so much to choose from. The meat section has quite a lot to choose from as well and you definitely can't go past this store if you live in the local area. I will definitely go again. Parking a little bit of a hassle and if you're there for long enough you have to pay for it that would be the only downside I would say for this location.
This store is located inside Norwood place shopping complex. Open all days, thought weekend timings are different. I have attached the timings on the pics below. You can find all sort of groceries-fruits and veggies, household items, bakery products, meat products, fish products, dairy products, and other consumables. Staff is excellent and I saw that the goods are replenished as and when the stocks are getting over
Reasonably priced compared to competition - more or less the same. Ample parking available in front of the building complex. It flybuy/ woolies card won't work as they have a separate poi t and card system
Bit busy because of covid, but staff are friendly, and the store has a wide variety of products, more than most common Foodland's, great store over all!
Fantastic day out shopping at Norwood Foodland. Fabulous food varieties, everything one needs. Always fresh and delicious fruit and vegetables.
Certainly one of Adelaide's best supermarkets.
Very good range with many specialist and imported lines.
Great help from staff who go out of the way to help. This includes managers so this is clearly store policy.
Excellent deli. Very good butcher and fruit and veg.
Better than any coles or woolworths I've been to.
Prices definitely sneaking up.
I still shop here. Coles is building their competition a cross the road and it certain ly needed to improve - lots. But Foodland really hasn't changed. Bit old fashioned now but it's good because of the consistently excellent service and vg range
Norwood Foodland is quite possibly the best supermarket in Adelaide. The produce is beautifully fresh and inviting and Delicatessen is ample and mouth watering and variety of meat's and salads outstanding. The grocery and baker's section is well stocked and will always supply you with your needs. Experience Norwood Foodland, you won't be let down.
Since the closure of Coles, Con the owner has raised the prices of most everyday items like bread and some animal foods by up to 80%. For instance, bread made onsight was $1.80 and reduced the next day to $1.15, it then went to $1.80 for day old bread, NOW, its $2.10.this owner has got greedy,
I love Foodland because everything that you need you have there and also all the team always are so kindly
Beautiful service with a great range of all the favourites of a world where money didn't exist. Classic crowd pleasers for everyone.

If you are looking for vegan or vegetarian selection of food, this is the place to go. A huge range to select from.
Just a few items below you might like to try.
Their bakery section is large with a wide selection of breads and pastries to choose from.
My favorite Supermarket.
