Northgate Reserve

Hidden oasis, ducks birds geese all happy to eat oats n float on the pond. Great playground for kids. Walking path is in good order.

It is a nice walk around the ponds on a hot summer afternoon with view of the hills from the west boundary.
The ponds collect stormwater and the excess is pumped into an underground aquifier, to be used in summer for irrigation. The water's edge is covered with reeds, with decking, a short boardwalk, earth or concrete banks giving view of the water. The reserve is landscaped park with paved paths and seating all around.
Car parking is limited and the mansions of Balnaves Walk are perched in the middle. Still, it is popular for dog walking.

Beautiful spot for a walk, picnic or to take the kids to the playground. Playground is clean, but quite a bit smaller than some of the others in the area. And cool little workout station too

Northgate reserve is lovely. I went for a walk around the area. It is really nice. There are seats in and out of the shade. Bbq area, ducks in the pond. Just nice to sit and read my book, and relax.
I will definitely be back

Very aggressive birds currently inhabit there. Was impossible to even sit down for a picnic. Looks beautiful there though

Very well-maintained and spacious open area, playgrounds and walking paths. Also really great walking my dog with plenty of ducks and other dogs around.

Nice and well-maintained place for the entire family. There are BBQ areas and workout facilities for adults, as well as a playground and bird life for kids.

Nice park with playground for children and bbq facilities. A pleasant place to walk, ride, exercise or to simply spend time with the family.

Very large and well maintained public park. Footpaths, undercover seating, BBQ areas and lighting all provided. Fantastic vegetated and treated catchment that serves as habitat for ducks and other bird life.
