Noodle Box

Quick service, good food, good service, staff is good too, had an issue with my order and they sorted it real quick.

I've been a regular, long term customer of Golden Grove Noodle Box. However, my last 4 visits have been very unsatisfactory compared to my previous experiences (after giving it another try, and another etc to see if there is any improvement). Reading some of the negative recent reviews on here, my recent experiences have been very similar - very skimpy with their veg and protein servings, 'big bowl' size not filled up to the top of the bowl. Furthermore, on the last 2 occasions, the honey soy sauce has tasted off - like a soggy taste and then very spicy the second time (and I didn't order my meal with chilli), that I had to throw it away. So disappointing and frustrating

Chef gave the salty food he don’t know the difference between salty and spicy worst chef I have seen in my life. Not recommended at all

I had read the recent reviews claiming of a poor experience with the lack of meat/veg in the meal and still decided to order.
I ordered the beef pad Thai which states it comes with mixed veg, bean shoots and spring onion. I decided to pay extra for broccoli and thank God I did.
I received ZERO mixed veg, 4 pieces of beef, 1 bean shoot and 4 broccoli pieces.
Charging $17 for a box of %90 noodles is an outrage.
If anyone reads this do yourself a favour and order elsewhere.

I have been here a few times, a really nice flavour of what I ordered but it was 90% hokken noodles with minimal vegetables and protein also a little expensive. For this type of takeaway I can do much better in the golden grove area.

Had my take away from Noodle Box Golden Grove after 3-4 years since my last visit. The meal was very disappointed as the fried rice was too much salt, also with strange ingredients in it and found plastic in another meal combination noodle.

Specified one meal was required vegan and the other without egg. Vegan meal came with pieces of bacon inside and the other had lots of egg.

Hadn't had a laska for ages, was unwell so craved it.
Was disappointed with the lack of veg. There was no carrot and no snow peas at all.
Employee on at the time could use a little training on social skills it was the most awkward I have ever felt ordering food

I have been going to Golden Grove store since it opened. Would have so say it has got slightly worse over the years.
Depending on the Chef is dependable on the outcome.
Tonight I knew it was not going to be great. Why?
When the Chef has to be summoned to come cook from out the back and put his phone down and took seconds to cook a meal and then take off straight out the back before I can even get to the counter says something.
Outcome was like eating cardboard.
As a business owner, some advise to the owner time to change up staff been there to long and stale like the food being cooked.
Check your cameras it was 7.45 paying an hourly rate to your employee and being taken for a ride.

Absolute disgrace on food handling went from wearing gloves with raw chicken battering it to then no washing hand and building a burger with cooked chicken absolutely disgraceful and going to make people very sick

Got a large bowl tonight after waiting for 25 minutes minimum I ordered extra meat at $3.50 as last time I received almost no meat so I thought I'd try by ordering extra.drove all the way home and opened it up and it was literally less meat than ever before even after paying the extra $3.50. I bought the large to share with the wife and it was literally just half full and only noodles and sauce. I don't mean to rant but service was poor and I paid $23.40 for a small amount of food with minimal meat even after paying extra.so now I have to head out again In the rain and get some more food. I tried last week and received the same sort of service and problem but was happy with flavours so I thought I would try you guys again.what a mistake quite concerned for your franchises as it youse to be amazing.
This experience was golden Grove Adelaide. Hope the others are better as it was best back in the day.

Went to noodle box at Golden Grove but it's also Supreme Leader Korean chicken, realy nice spicy chicken and burgers BUT way over priced, when I win the lotto I might be back.

4 people working. No customers. No service no acknowledgement. Stood there for 2 mins. Walked out, didn't seem fazed at all. Was going to buy to feed my family

Quality is disgusting: I paid $18 for a meal and only received half a box with only noodles and sauce. They "forgot" to put everything in it and then must have "forgotten" to look when they boxed it. What a joke.

Just ordered for the family and ended up throwing it in the bin not good at all no one liked it at all $100 in the bin

Don't get it delivered Don't order on line ask for extra meet pay the extra and they wont put any meet in. Never had problems when I went in seems to be orders placed online

Very unhelpful when the website says 'open' and the shop is actually closed due to renovations. Update your website!

Food is good but don’t get it delivered. Not once out of the 8 times I’ve had it delivered have they followed my order. No prawns? They add more than usual. Extra meat? The same as a normal order. Ask for utensils? Get nothing.

I had the lemon chicken which was good. Only thing I'd recommend is putting another staff member on the wok station so food is ready to collect asap

Ordered special fried rice. It was burnt and tasted really weird. Took it back and they made another one, which tasted the same (burnt). Really really really.
